by far the most helpful explination of math in a short amount of time, my trig professor beats around the bush for an hour and a half, pulling numbers and equations out of no where. thank you so much sir.
Fantastic video. I was struggling a lot with this topic and other channel's videos were helpless to me, but this man seriously knows how to teach! I watched his "graphing sin and cos" video as an introduction, then watched this video to finish the unit. I went from not understanding anything about this topic to, while obviously taking notes, fully understanding everything. Thank you so much, Mario, you really saved me from falling far behind in my class.
You explain everything so clearly and show the meaning as to why something is what it is, which is something a lot of teachers don't do. Thank you so much!!!!
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I have my math midterm tomorrow and I have a professor who likes to rush everything. My entire class is confused on every math topic this professor has taught and I have to go to channels like yours to understand the topic.
Man you have to hand it to Mario, this man is a genius. His teaching skills are immaculate and I can understand everything that he says and does just from the way he articulates himself. Every time I watch one of these videos I always come out of them actually learning something. I highly recommend this guy and keep teaching maths Mario!
My son had difficulty with geometry last year and can't help so much. I tried to help again this year and luckily found your videos which helped us since. He will be having ap precalculus and algebra 1 for my youngest son next year. I checked and you already have videos available . I just wanted to say thank very much Sir!
Just in at 1:50, you've already made sense of so much. For some reason my college professor SOARS through the lecture and I catch about 65% of what she says. Also, she didn't explain what she meant by "basic sin graph" she just started drawing real fast and said, "as you know you should refer back to this," and I'm like "wha?" Just know you're filling in the gaps for many misunderstandings. Thanks!
OMG thank you!!! I’ve been learning how to do this for weeks in my class at school and never got it and you made me understand it in a 30 minute video 40 minutes before my final exam. Thank you this saved me. Keep up the amazing work and maybe give some advice to teachers around the world
THANK YOU SO MUCH MARIO!!! I missed a lot of days in school and couldn't grasp the concepts at all, but after watching your videos, I really understand everything better!
Thank you so much for this! With our school still following the online class format, Trig my professor has been extremely lazy and doesn't even bother explaining our lessons. All he does is go over a few examples and just rushes thru them without explaining what's happening per step he's making.
Thank you so much !!! I am going to have a test on this tomorrow and originally I am really frustrated with this. However, I am confident again after watching your video! Thank you so much !!!
Really good video! It's awesome that you're succinct in teaching the theory, and use several different examples to show how to apply it. I've seen so many online tutors use only 1 example to introduce a new concept, which is so annoying because as soon as you don't recognize something, or don't understand something basic, you're basically lost forever. Thumbs up and a subscription from me! Good job :)
Thank you so much for graphing trig functions so clearly! My teacher doesn't really thoroughly explain every problem, so sometimes, it's hard for me to understand her, but you explained it in a way that I could understand. This will help me a lot and especially since I have a quiz tomorrow 😅. Seriously though, keep up the good work!
Getting an education in America is paying a college thousands of dollars to explain complex problems and then ending up on UA-cam to a free series for a better explanation then what your thousands and every day of being in class is doing.
I am a huge math fanatic, I love all algebra and trigonometry, but graphing trig functions have always confused me. This video, however, has reaffirmed my confidence in preparation for my honors math final exam. Thank you so much! You do such an amazing job explaining everything! Is there any chance you do personal tutoring? Just curious :)
Approximately 23:38 (Problem 16) he places the Vertical asymptotes at -pie and +pie. I thought verticle asymptotes can only occur at +pie/2 and -pie/2 because they result in a zero in the denominator? Is it because of the period change?
I missed a day of school and I have been lost for 2 weeks. This video helped me catch up! Thanks!
Glad my complete guide to graphing trig functions helped you get caught up Oscar!
I know I’m 4 years late… but precalc is hard- and there’s a test tomorrow…

Plotting those points the way you did to set up the graph was brilliant.

Thank you so much for this Mr. Mario
Great lesson. When showing stretches or 'squashes' I would keep the x axis labels as they were to show the difference in the curve.
this was incredibly helpful, I was looking for a video that had all six functions' graphs together😁😁😁

Yes it's because of the 1/2 which expanded the period
