Hii! We rented via AirBnB and it was located in one of the side streets on the Main Street 'Jl. padang lingjong'. The street is very long and we were a bit more on the top of the street (not near the beach). For me it didn't really matter if it was this location or if it's closer to the beach. You already need to go to a lot of places by Grab - walking is of course nice as well - but I think what makes your stay and experience is your stay and we were really happy with how quiet and relaxing the villa was. ♥️ (hope this helps a bit!)
