Thanks for showing what you have done to make your shop yours. You say your shop isn't perfect. Few craftsman will describe their shop as perfect but every shop is unique. I need to add some drawer pulls and like your use of leather. I'm going to make some like yours. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the tour, something I can ponder as I have most of the same tools (and material) in disorganized chaos in my garage! Same issues with weather but rain on Pacific Northwest.
I appreciate your editing with humor. You really don't have the show all what's in your drawers... unless your particular proud of something. For future tours... Nice little shop. A few more van remodels and maybe you can bump up to a two car. ;))
Very nice josh like always you do a great job building thing. Im still save up to buy ford trans van so I can have build my van. Just bought a rooftop tent for my kia soul. So when I buy that van you can put the tent on top of van for more sleeping space.
Here some ideas: I'd get more and better lighting, big production and mood improvement. 4 hanging 150 to 200 watt 5,000k LED warehouse bay light fixtures. They go for 100 bucks each. A bigger compressor, maybe located in a small attached shed outside the garage with more air tools, especially for sanding. If not that, I'd invest in an industrial grade belt sander with a 3 HP 2 phase motor and matching dust collection stand. Not sure if you live in a house that belongs to the same property, but I'd try to find a 2 car garage so you can work on a van when its raining / snowing. Do you have jobs lined up at all times? If yes, expand and hire. Raise prices if needed. If not, move to a state with higher demand for van builds and longer summers.
Great shop Josh, just as wonderful as all of your crafty van conversions! We’re do you find all these Fords? Clients bring them to you? Can’t seem to locate any (used) ones. New ones are quite pricy. Great lifestyle you have doing what you love your have wonderful flare of style. 🪚
I wonder if Altoids knew from the beginning that at least one of their tins would wind up in every single garage and or tool bag/kit in America! And your too hard on yourself, your workshop looks cleaner than most peoples homes. lol
Beautiful, man. I love your attention to detail.
Thanks Brian!
It's a very fine shop, Josh. My garage is 12x24. We cleaned it out and rearranged it yesterday. I came to the conclusion that I need three of them.
Thank you!

Greetings from Iowa County. You speak of renting. There are homeowners’ shops that don’t look that nice. Mine included. 😂😂😂
I have been watching your videos and hope that when I get my minivan 🚐 I could have you do the build for me. Really good work!!
