Hanabi's chain/bounce attacks (skill 1) are considered skill damage. They can trigger spellvamp, ice queen wand, glowing wand, and genius wand. It will trigger deter. Antique cuirass is good against Hanabi.

So interesting facts about "Antique Cuirass" especially the last part I don't even know that when you got negative (-) physical attack/damage, enemy hit get healed. It's really a big help, Mechanical Elgin's.

I use antique cuirass a lot, even against heroes who don't rely on skills. The stats alone are just really good. I do think they should adjust the way lance and haya's immunity works though. Deter should still affect them. I always assumed it did lol

You should buy blade armor for dps mm like claude and wanwan....buy Twilight armor for critical mm like lesley and irithel...you can use antique cuirass if the enemy is granger or brody wich skill dependent hero
Antique Cuirass passive effect affects 3 times each hero, THIS kind of Unique passive effects also apply to other items like Genius Wand (enemy magic defend will reduce up to 9x3=27 from each heroes who carry the item). If your team has 5 magic damage heroes and everyone buy Genius Wand, the enemies can reach negative magic def easily. I accidentally knew this because I faced 3 mages at the same time and they burst me down easily with this 1 simple item stackable magic reduction effect. I hope Elgin can make more of this kind videos so we dont have to do the experiment ourselves.
it is very informative.. sometimes I am wondering whether to build magic def reducing item or magic power increasing item. Then, if you have on yourteammate many magic damage, the first is good coz it's stackable on ur enemy.. if the other way around, the later is better to focus improving ur magic power.. is it?
In conclusion, use this defense item whenever facing burst physical heroes such as Assassins and Fighters but not when facing most MMs (unlike Granger, Brody & YSS) & basic atk dependent heroes since they dont fully trigger the passive to its full potential

Most people in ML think if you get hurt a lot, buy defense, yeah buy (physical) def even when you fight m.atk user. And more people who think damage dealer need to focus on damage only as their win rate so low about even under 55%
Cuirass is best for Skill Dependent Physical Attack Heroes For ASPD/DPS Type, you may use a combination of Twilight Armor or Dominance Ice (You need to be in the right place at the right time for this one). Or Blade Armor and Twilight Armor for Burst/DPS Type

I like to use dreadnought armor plus dominance to enemies like balmond, ruby and others cause they have spell vamp which I don't like, then I'll buy the antique cuirass for tankiness.
IMO still a very good item from the stats alone. 920 HP is really a lot, especially it's the third highest item with HP and second highest HP item for physical defense. I use it everytime when playing Tank because oh the high HP and defense.

I tested that in practice. It does benefit from skill effects, and it can also deal critical damage.
