It does because in this version they knew Galen put that exhaust port there and just went “Meh, must be some kind of weird aesthetic choice” and they approved the design anyway.
I say I'm 99.99% sure of something or what ever And when people ask what's that .01% I just say Eh nothing is ever 100% Something's out of my control or just simple human error
Yeah its actually miracle it was that small and the only one on the station. Plus it was actually defended extremely well. Only reason it was even made is because Luke subconsciously used the force. It is commonly stated as a design flaw but it is actually revolutionary engineering.
@@fawkewe actually, it was described in the movie as a secondary exhaust port below the main one, which they apparently ruled out as an exploitable weakness. It also stands to reason that there would be multiple exhaust ports throughout the station, but for whatever reason this was the most vulnerable one. That checks out to me, because they were able to evade the AA guns.
@@noonespecial9704 well there's this little hole...kind of an esthetic thing from the architect... And if you shoot a laser into this whole the station uhm blows up.....
The writers should have had him say "Lord Vader, it's an exhaust port. Covering it up would defeat the purpose." Then you have Vader force choking him for correcting him like that time Rick had to mind wipe Morty for taking things for granite.
Still gold after all these years.
“Kind of an aesthetic choice by the architect”
-rogue one-
"uh..there's... nothing to do downtown...eh"
“Enough of this, Vader release him.”
"As you wish."
Rogue One somehow makes this funnier.
Agreed, I lost it when he said it was a dissing choice by the architect.
SnifyWisper Only an architect (i.e. homosexual) would consider a hole to be aesthetic.
SnifyWisper Yep. Complete understatement right there. 😂

Luke: "Oh, shit! They put a piece of plywood over the thremal exhaust port! Red Five pulling out!"
0:29-0:33 I say this almost all the time when my family says "99.99%"
do they say it often? lol

"Can we put some plywood over it or something? "Well, that would look terrible, I mean we gotta think about resale!" 🤣🤣
Its an exhaust port tho they literally need that for a station the size of a moon
All they needed was a sturdy grate.

Damn i forgot Hulu used to be free
“That is fantastic! Terrific work! So no weaknesses at all?”
“N… 😟… no!”
"You uh... You hesitated there is there... something I should know?"

@@sniperboom1202 Woah woah woah that seems like a pretty big design flaw!
@@noonespecial9704 nah nah nah the holes only like 2 meters across it's not a big deal....
...well that's no bigger than a womp rat
this is so much funnier as an adult
I miss the Hulu intro on Family Guy clips
Simpler times
one of the most incredible pieces of television ever made

as design improvement, they make the hole much bigger in Death Star 2 that even space ships can fly in😂
"The shaft is ray shielded, so you'll have to use proton torpedoes.“
Is a laser the same as proton torpedos?
No. Lasers fire photons.
What episode is the from
it's from the blue harvest special.
Kinda late but s6 ep 1
I lived in DTLA for 3 years...there's plenty to do.🤣
Only an architect (i.e. homosexual) would consider a hole to be aesthetic.
Are you saying the people who made the Death Star were homosexuals, Do you realise women have holes too. 😂
As one of several kids of Architects, I can say: you are wrong
0:39 or intention sabotage
The original trilogy was way better than the prequels and I still found the lack of faith in this plot "hole" disturbing.
True but prequels way better than the monstrosity known as the sequels.
Priceless!
