Changed the game ? How ? Federer will forever be your favourite player, we have no doubt about it. But sympathy aside *the GOAT is by definition the most dominant player ever in a sport, the guy who holds the biggest achievements in tennis no matter your personal preference* 🏆🥇
You can't speak with your heart but with your head on this topic if...you really want to be credible and objective😉

@@mickaellandry9726 Your point still goes towards Roger. He’s definitely the most dominant player of this sport. I don’t know any other player dominate tennis like him for about 20 years. At the age of 38 he was #1 in the rankings. I want to see if Rafa and Djokovic would be #1 when they turn 38. Even tho I like them, Roger is the greatest player ever.

This man transcends generations of tennis at the very highest level with the most beautiful looking game and with the most complete character on and off the court.

Federer reminds me of being a skater back in the day. I’d spend hours figuring out how to land a new trick, usually leaving behind evidence in the form of high velocity blood splatter patterns. Federer must have spent countless hours perfecting his trick shots. I was bored of tennis once McEnroe, Becker, and Lendl retired. Agassi kept me around for a while, but watching him lose his spectacular plumage and go bald was too much to bear. It wasn’t until Federer showed up that I regained my interest in tennis, especially after seeing him play Agassi. It was like watching the old guard hand off the torch to the new guard.

I've heard somewhere he would practice the same shot over and over and over, until he mastered it. "Supposedly" he never practiced tweeners tho lmao... If I had to guess, given he probably hit thousands of tennis balls every week, cute trick shots just come naturally from tennis feeling like second nature
((For what it's worth from my experience as a kinda decent player at one point, muscle memory is huge and a lot of touch/ trick shots have much more to do with fitness than just hands/ great mind. Peak Fed's immaculate footwork is particularly criminally underrated, he was almost always in the right position, and of course turning defense into attack

Sadly the age still caught up to him ,as you can see his movement back then was as quick as a cat ,he didn't have to chase down every ball like Nadal or Murray did ,but he sure can bring some serious speed when he needs it the most.
Imagine putting this almost 40 year-old experienced Roger into his younger body ,he will be invincible. The main reason he lost to Novak in Gs after 2011 was because of fitness level ,since Djokovic was almost as good as him and 6 years younger , it's like playing against a prime equal.

Novak can never equal the great roger in any way at any time. Djoker 's game variety & skill is not even 10% of rogers. He started winning after 2011 only due to reason roger game slowed down due to age & djoker 7 years younger to fed. Most of the matches after 2011 were close matches & fed should have won most of the matches
