    I just got it today in 2023 and it's impressive. Very well thought out vacuum with plenty of power even compared to the m18 packout version.

      The one we got is holding up great and yes I agree it seems to have more suction than the m18 version.

    I've had one for over a year now. It's my go-to for small jobs.
    It's in/lift is greater than the 18V.
    Thanks for the review.

      Thank you for the comment, your experience backs up the basic airflow test we did in the video. Great information thank you again.

    Seems like a decent vacuum, safe to say youll need 2 m12 batteries to get decent runtime for bigger jobs

      That would be very safe to say. It works great, but it definitely runs down batteries.

    Just picked one up today already got some good use out of it scraping up some floors. I help maintain properties and renovate, mainly got it for changing and repairing toilets. I've been running the m18 handheld vaccum for a while but was struggling bringing a bucket head and extension cords to change a toilet

      How has this held up for you? Did you end up getting another product or have you stuck with the M12 Vac? So far I've been happy with using mine for spot cleaning around projects.

      @@TalkingHandsTools I use it pretty much daily, still doing maitnence. The next upgrade I would do vaccum wise would probably be the larger shop vac they got now, but I personally right now have a good one and have no problems with my m12. I actually really want to get the brush nozzle that recently came out. I look at the m12 and the pack out versions but have no need as I have no pack out supplies. If I bite the bullet and had pack out I would go with the pack out vac. Another rolus for the m12 is that you can get drywall dust bags inserts for sanding plaster perfect for me for small jobs in and out of Apts

      Glad to hear it's still going strong for you. I'm in a similar situation as you, I have some packout but I don't know that the packout vac would really help me out, I also have larger 120v vacs that I don't use enough to justify needing cordless for. That may change over time but for now the little M12 and it's M18 counterpart suit me well. Thank you for the reply I really enjoy hearing other people's experiences with tools.

    At 4 feet, the M12's hose is 1 foot shorter than the hose found on the old and new M18.

      Did not know that thank you for the info. The attachment is the same between the M18 and M12 but I did not pick up on the length difference. Thanks.

    Really nice vacuum wish they didn’t have so many issues I wanted it to work so bad it’s much better then old brushed models.

      @@TalkingHandsTools thermal shutdowns, hose clogs easy and does not run off of every m12 battery basically only good with a 6ah battery. Hopefully the tested unit that Milwaukee is sending me in return for mine changes my opinion.

    • @TalkingHandsTools
      @TalkingHandsTools  4 роки тому +2

      interesting. I haven't experienced thermal shutdowns yet and I've been primarily running it with 4 and 5 amp hour knock off batteries which probably aren't quite what they say.

      @@TalkingHandsTools takes a bit to set it off but once it happened the first time at work it pretty much started happening all the time. Seems to be a really common complaint from what I've seen Milwaukee reached out for videos of what triggers it so I assume there are a lot of them bugging out.

      @@TalkingHandsTools happens while using vacuum under load and moving the vacuum around at the same time.

    Can one m12 4.0XC Battery last 15-20 minutes to vacuum a whole car?

    • @TalkingHandsTools
      @TalkingHandsTools  10 місяців тому +1

      That might be pushing it. I'd have to try and do a runtime test. They are meant for spot cleaning. A whole car is probably a bit much on one battery.

    Would be nice if milwakee make 18v version in this wheight/size
    current M18 version is heavy to be hanged for long
    Also 1.6 gallon should be enough for me😅

    • @TalkingHandsTools
      @TalkingHandsTools  6 місяців тому

      This is a convenient size. It was also surprising it moves more air than the M18.

    Is it compatible to their packout system? like the M18 version?

    • @TalkingHandsTools
      @TalkingHandsTools  3 роки тому +1

      Neither the M12 or the M18 in this video are compatible with Packout. There is a Packout vacuum that is M18 but it is not I'm this video.

    Классный обзор, надо было ещё что-то по пылесосить показать как он при уборке.

      Thank you, There are a bunch of other channels that show the tool in action cleaning up various kinds of dirt. I thought Id try and compare it's performance to the M18 version that a lot of people already have so they can decide if its worthwhile for their needs or not. We could definitely do a dirt cleaning video if there's enough interest.

    Heard it only last 10 min with a 6 amp battery... it sucks then

    • @TalkingHandsTools
      @TalkingHandsTools  2 роки тому +2

      That sounds about right time wise, this isn't intended for prolonged use its aimed at little jobs so you can clean up as you go. If your application fits within the run times this is a decent vacuum. If your looking to clean large areas this isn't the right choice for your needs.

    Battery life sucks

    • @TalkingHandsTools
      @TalkingHandsTools  3 роки тому +2

      I have to agree these are very battery hungry. I think they are aimed more toward spot clean up and not entire job clean up. That being said overall they suck reasonably well for what they are.
