We will be doing the same thing on a 2018 charter lagoon. Picking up in Croatia Nov of 23. We will be looking forward to your posting about outfitting the former charter cat. Thanks for posting.
Can you tell us where you got the mount for the solar panels? It looks great! Was it custom made? Can you share the plans/schematics or where you purchased it?
Hi Mark! Sorry for late reply! It was custom made in Greece. I think he has a base plan and modifies it a bit depending on the size on panels. I think it it great as it is not too big, but looks good and still gets some good power. They are called Chris Inox, didnt speak that good english but i think it can be managed. See chrisinox.gr/
Sorry for late reply: It was Vitifrigo 180A www.vitrifrigo.com/ww/en/drw180a-all-in-one-double-compartment We liked it as you can change the compartments according to your needs (can choose it to be fridge or Freezer) and I think it is biggest model you can fit there from Vitifrigo.
Thanks! As we sailed in med.. it was full of fishing nets we started to think that we should've probably added one. It is on the list to be added later but i think we will go without now and consider it in next haul out. Lets see.
Thanks! It is LG 410w bi-facial solar panels. My friend actually stepped on one for like 10-15 sec and it didnt brake, so seems to be also quite good and strong quality. I've been so far satisfied.
It is not a secret, it was about 60-70k all, but we did quite a lot.. it took 2-3 weeks. Could've been even faster, but couldn't have everyone there at the same time and had to work distant as well. Also some suppliers it was hard to get them come to finish the job (even though we had booked advance) as it was busy times for all (season starting)
Thanks Christian, great to hear you liked it! On upgrades ca 60k roughly. But what is not seen in the video is also 2 new sails (code 0 and Parasailor, which were already ca. 18k). Boat is 2019.
Good job guy. Could I know how do you have done to find your boat ? Have you use some broker? Interrnet search ? Could i know the name of marina ? Thanks
Hi, Dronic! I searched online first and went to greece to survey one boat. I didnt end up buying that one, but at the same trip we heard another one being on sale but it was bit overpriced. However owner dropped price later and contacted us later and we got deal through that way and bought straight from owner.
can't wait till the next episode
Working on it :)
Such a wonderful vlog, congratulations!
Hope to see both of you again, thanks for collaboration. :)

Nice! Sailed also in Croatia, great spots! Where you plan to sail?
Looks like an amazing voyage! Congratulations!
Thanks! It was. As it is getting colder here in Finland, you really start missing those days :D
Nice video, hope to see Le Tigre at some of the harbours around the Baltic sea. Hyviä tuulia!
For sure! Which harbors you stay at? We should do a trip together!
@@talesbythesea Home harbour is Stormälö at south end of Airisto, this June we plan to sail towards Helsinki, and back via the Estonian cost
Do i see correctly in your pic that you have also L42? We should go sailing together 😁
@@talesbythesea No, she is the little sister L40
Great video guys. Thanks for sharing, what a beautiful boat. I’m hoping to get something similar within the next year. Yes beer is important 😂👍
You definitely should, a lot of work but also a lot of fun! We will most likely sell in 2-3 years, so maybe we will sell to you then 😅
Looks awesome! Cant wait to see this beauty in Finland 😉🤝
Arrived last monday to Finland, so welcome! :)

Very nice acquisition, congratulations. I'm wondering; no rope cutter with the folding prop? Awaiting for the next video, be well. :-)

Hello sir you will be renewed iam from israel i want to buy a agoon 400
Nice! I am sure that you will enjoy it!
I won't ask how much all the upgrades cost - but I will ask - how long did it take to get it all done?

Very cool vlog! How much did you spent on the renovation / upgrade and on the boat (what year)? Roughly....?

Really nice anchor! Almost a shame to throw it in the sea :)
I know! Would like to keep just up all the time. Noticed also that it has few scratches on its belly 😢😩

Congrats you two! We hope to run into you at an anchorage somewhere Nestor & Yolanda @bluebuddhaadventures.
Thanks mate! Which part of the world you travel?
@@talesbythesea Our boat is in Antigua but we'll start cruising full time in 2 years and will head to the Med first for the first two seasons.
