@@jeaventure I see, I wondered about that. How do the tracks negotiate the deeper snow? Are you satisfied overall with the machine? I have placed an order for one, unsure how long it will take due to the current supply chain issues.
@@achap6376 I have one on order as well. It is supposed to be here next Friday but I'm not holding my breath. Order it back in November. Should be an awesome machine. A 6x6 is one of the few things I've never owned/ridden. Figured I'd take the chance. Seems like a great compromise to a sxs. Time will tell.
@@achap6376 in terms of flotation on snow they do amazing but any type of zigzagging with side incline and you are bound to dig yourself. But we never had to dig ourselves out per say for hours. Just some back and forth with shovels and winching. On flat ground never a problem even with several feet of snow.
Ordered mine with tracks end of Sept still waiting they said maybe mid May Had a Polaris 6x6 before
such a nice machine, might go look for one haha
Why ?
I'd put the wheels back on in those conditions.
Yes in theory that is indeed the correct setup, the video does not show that there was much deeper snow in other places and we had to compromise.
