    Pretty sure yellow peppers🟡 are actually a different variant because I’m growing peppers and they are red peppers🔴 and the un ripe ones are green🫑 and slowly turn orangey to red directly.

    Definitely liked that video. I just "stole" your idea to blend the milk alternative (in my case unsweetened oat almond mix milk) with dates. I actually already used both of these ingredients for my egg free, vegan self made french toast but I never thought about using these two ingredients for a milk alternative drink .... delicious.
    I'd love to see a follow up video 4 sure.

    Put ripe avacados in a bowl of water in the fridge. They will stay fresh for weeks. Air ages them. Water stops the aging process. Wish I could put my face in a bowl of water with the same results lol

    That's a handsome young man Gemma & Hench!! Amongst other bad things about Palm oil....The palm oil also destroys the habitat of Orangutans (even sustainably sourced) the Orangutans are often burned alive when they source the palm oil from the trees they live in! 🥺 Great video guys!!! I like your enthusiasm :)
    I heard a lot of sick people are healing on a raw vegan diet and I know there is a risk of not having a big diversity if you dont switch it up correctly but my feeling tells me this could be the right thing for humans. Active enzymes, not heatproof vitamins etc. are all better available in raw food for example.
    What are your thought on raw vs cooked? Do you have any video or recommandation about that topic ?

    • @HenchHerbivore
      @HenchHerbivore  2 роки тому +1

      Thank you, my friend! From my understanding, according to the science there is no benefit to be gained from 100% raw diet. I would infer that likely a mix of cooked and raw would likely yield the best results as some nutrients are more bioavailable when food is cooked and we’ll be eating a wider range of fibre types which will create more diversity of gut microbes and the best potential for optimal physical and mental health

    • @inventorofsalt
      @inventorofsalt 2 роки тому

      @@HenchHerbivore Alright I understand you. I still wanna give it a try myself and see how the raw diet affect me. I should include sprouts etc. to make sure I get a wilder range to have a good comparision.

I have zero control over how he spends his allowance and I have to be ok with that. I noticed when I switched to plant based, I didn't have the desire for alcohol much anymore. It was weird, because I was having cocktails a couple times per week prior. There was no effort on my part, and it wasn't something I planned on. I still haven't figured out why though.

    I was thinking that you're very strict on him on his first shop and then I heard you mention the link between refined free sugar and Alzheimer's.
    A reminder for females (especially) to limit sugar.

    As someone who's dad was not around, good on you for being there for your son, also inspiring him towards kindess to animals. Hench never fails to show his compassionate side.

    Awesome bro, so informative. Been vegan for 4 yrs and honestly, I eat mostly vegan junk food lol. I really need to start eating more whole foods been feeling shit lately, although, we had a medical at work few weeks ago and I was the healthiest across the board haha.

    Hi Paul,
    I am a vegan but my wife isn't. When in asda she buys an own brand frozen plant based mince and puts it in our chillis and burritos and she likes it more than the animal alternative so thus could be another option for your son.

    Green lentils have become my mince alternative. Love the texture of them. Lentil bolognese is great.

    You have a son?! That's awesome Paul! He's very handsome just like his dad! If he's up for it, I'd love to see an update how he's doing in a few months or so. No pressure of course! 💞💞💞
