Can you get the honour in the US?
Checked out the Z Fold5. It is bulky. Size is a bit awkward. Often when I unfold it, it slips from my hands.
Feel-wise, I prefer the V2. Easier to hold and unfold.
Still considering. But I am starting to incline towards the V2.
The porsche model honor magic v2 rsr and the Huawei mate x5 could be the best Foldable ever with the upcoming z fold 6

What about their software features? Like multi window management, 90 degree etc?
Almost on par, Honor has improved a lot on multi window compatibility with apps, will do a separate video showing that.

Does it support stylus input, ip68 rating, multi windows tasking and other customisable andvanced features found in zfold 5?
Other than IP68 and stylus input, other features are similar not unless you take Samsung Good Lock into account.
@@klgadgettv Fold 5 is IPX8 it doesnt offer dust resistance and V2 offers stylus input on both screens!
I know the Porsche design version comes with a stylus, so I guess yes.

Just recently sold my book style foldable and back to candy bar. While big screen is sexy, i find the usecase is only for video viewing. I ended up uses external screen 90% of the time. App optimization is a huge play here, so ill give it another 2 years. Also for the hardware to catch up on weight and thickness
Yeah, the older book style foldables are a pain to use.
You're are not old enough yet, when you reach your 50th then your eyes will screaming for large screen.
@@sensuparman34 I disagree. Just because there's larger screen, doesn't mean the content is optimized for it. Video? I agree, but not everything else. There's setting like magnifier that's will compensate that for s22 ultra (my current phone).
For me, software plays a big part. There's something about my Oppo N3 just lacking compared to my Samsung phone (I agree probably due to my long term Samsung usage).

@@kiracyrusNot only video and photo, large screen fits more content, for ex browsing, pdf, spreadsheet, it feels like you're reading it from computer screen. I wish Honor can make it 10 inch and folded small enough to fit in pocket
I have tried both. Fold 5 front screen size is awkward for me.
Magic v2, does not have a stylus, otherwise it will be perfect.
IMO, each phone lacks a key feature which is a deal breaker
The v2 does have a stylus, it's called the magic pen. The downside is that you can't put the pen inside the phone

That's a very odd opinion. The Honor V2 is so thin it feels like a normal phone in the hand when closed so the larger outer screen seems natural. The galaxy fold 5 is a bulky one so I guess the narrow screen is good for it.

This foldable phone sure looks great but the one feature that always pulls me back to Samsung is DeX.
I just can't have a phone without it, It's too useful to me for work and everyday life.

At the end of the day it all comes to the user experience and software, If Samsung won't make a bigger screen for their next Fold, I'll definitely switch to the Honor V2

Thank you for your video. I would like to buy honor magic V2, since it is light, I would use it for ebooks. Is the screen comfortable for reading? I am also really concerned because it does not seem to be certified for water and/or dust resistance. I think this is a major point
The Honor has an e-book mode in the settings which makes it ideal for reading

I disagree, the candy bar style screen is so easy to use one handed. Samsung knows what's up. I would much prefer the width of the honor screen bc I'm a size queen but I have to admit the slim front cover is easy to use on the hip. Your bias papa

So true.. I'm not comfortable typing one handed using wider hp even it is thin enough. Not to mention there are a lot of advanced feauture has yet to be compromised and not available in this phone as found in zfold 5.
@@hassanseth2179 yeah, fold 5 is safe, yes but reliable. I can't imagine having a first or second Gen of something. It looks perty but gibe it a few months.
I understand why people say this, but the Samsung fold is far to narrow, while the Honor is not that wide. The Honor is as wide as a small iPhone 13 pro (not max).
Honor magic v2 is undoubtedly a better option compared to zfold 5 for one of the most obvious reasons of having a bigger display when folded.
Honor magic v2 win in size with the thinnest but zfold5 win in screen quality and materials
Just wish the V2 had fast wireless charging.

@@Lliamhd actually yes , some phones has 80watt wireless some hase 50 watt wireless, a lot phones have like Xiaomi 14 Ultra
U forgot to mention bout their u.i, samsung do much better in maximising the full screen then honor, even if honor is beautiful, but I prefer Samsung coz of the u.i v.6, later upgrade to v.6.1 , where us can use a.i already 😊 honor can upgrade to honor magic 6 pro u.i? I don't think so in this few months, maybe end of years 😂 after fold 6 is already coming out to replace 5, with no folding line I guess, similar to v2😊

I bought magic v2. Its incredible. I tried galaxy zfold 5. It wasn't good. Retuned it . But the magic v2 is like a normal phone. So light and thin. This is amazing

@@klgadgettv Thinnest & lightest foldable phone in the world, I believe no other brands can easily take down that throne for quite some time. Seeing is believing... Let's see if that's true in next few years.
Thinnest and lightest by compromising ip68 rating, stylus support and etc.
@@hassanseth2179 the CEO mention clearly during press launch, the waterproof & wireless charging will add a few mm to the thickness hence they decided not to do it. My personal view those are nice to have features. It's like if you own a luxury SUV, will you drive it to dirt & off road? If the phone has IP rating, I wouldn't challenge it.
@sensuparman34 Exactly. Samsung compromised thickness to keep these features they are known for. And yes, I occasionally wash out my phone when it gets dirty and don't need to worry about spilled water when i put my phone on the table while dining (occured several times).
So, to other people, waterproof and other festures such as stylus support, wirelss charging and multiwindow function, etc. is a must. It is just a matter of time when samsung could make their foldable thin enough without compromising all the features that their customers want. I believe that making a thin foldable is not a problem to them if they exclude all common features found in their flagship.
