Cut metal plates that bolt to the angles where the frame points join, Use C.A.D. "Cardboard Aided Design" drill holes to fasten, you can use insert pipe to take up the space between metal brackets "through the in sides of the where the bolts are" and use washers to get more clamping pressure... aka gussets maybe you should weld in the gussets LOL but if you do weld the up mounting surface, and offset tab the bottom and use 2 throu-bolts so that it's able to come apart again.
Three things: 1) Make a 5 minute vid of the Rims with music ... 2) Naively asked: Is there an app for designing livery/layers/vinyls directly on a cars 3d model? I'd really like to give it a go! 3) Rollcage with mesh for playing to prevent holes in wall?
SAM I HAVE THAT EXACT SIM FRAME, its super worth it to put a few bracing bars, I put an X bar to stop the lateral movement and the ones on the side you talked about doing to stop the up an down movement on my sim, and it made the entire thing so much better
The foam HKS filters are supposed to be changed every 4000-5000km. People complain that they brake up and shit gets sucked in but it's usually because people don't change them in time.
The crossmembers you want to add will help with the rigidity for sure. I use a similar frame (has two cross bars in the upper section where you are mounting the wheel) and it feels pretty study.
Man I just REALLY wish we had UpGarage's here in the States. I'd be there every day!!! Hell, I might quit what I'm doin now and work at one! I love that sorta thing.
It’s not hard to put new leather on an old wheel your self. Just back from putting a new hot boi twin pipe exhaust on my MX5, found on eBay mint in the box for a great price. Happy days.
Ooh, black meshies out front of Up Garage. :) (Been wanting some of those for my Volvo, though preferably like 16's. Those looked maybe more like 15 or smaller. :) ) Ooh, and wooden Nardis. :) (Also for your desk, you can reattach the laminate with a hot iron and maybe a little wood glue. THen just tape it down till it dries. :).)
So I found a Simota carbon charger intake system in upgarage. is upgrading from stock intake worth it? Does it affect the reliability of my car? I don't do racing or other cool stuffs but im wondering if upgrading to that intake system is a good idea for my daily car . Guide me
The car is lookn good cant wait to see you gripn on my favourite track. I had a logitec G29 wheel had manual and paddles shift with the brake, clutch and accelerator all had proper spring rates and was crazy sure the new ones are way better love sim driving.
You can do in the future your custom stand. Like i and my father mesured from our s15 everything like how far are the pedals, the wheel, how low is the seat and this kind of stuff and you can make Okachan weld it i quess😅it will be awesome plus you can paint it pink for the team😃
yay a sim update thought you gave up on that , i sim race , please get content manager so we can tandem with you !! get a quest 2 it works perfect and can be wireless for the little space or wired . make it more sturdy weld some stuff at the shop , learn to weld episode lol ik on logitech you can even put your own wheel on idk about yours tho . later if you want an immersion upgrade for cheap buy a buttkicker for vibration AND MAKE MAY DRIVE IT! so she can learn
Check out the Track Racer Tr8 Mach 3 I got the version with a seat and monitor mount but the basic version is around $850 aud without a seat. I’ve been loving mine the past few months !
If you want vr headset for ya sim rig. Get the oculus quest 2. Its really good. Via wireless. I use virtual desktop app. And it works seemless with vr games etc. I just purchased a used g27 myself. Plan to make drift setup to. Though wont be nice as yours. For my ebrake ill be using a flight stick lol. I got the pro wheel stand for my wheel. It super heavy duty. Im sure i could tow a car with it lol.
got some DOGE in to folio 9 weeks ago at 0.5 up to 0.35+ now.sold some at near the peak left most of the the profit in. think Chris just missed the first good pump.. ''hodul gang''...geting more soon..
@02:50 ごみバル。There's you answer 🤣👍 @17:50 IKEA?! Don't do that to yourself! Not in a technologically advanced country like Japan! 😅😂 @18:45 Good stuff! Sounds like a plan! If it doesn't help, maybe a cross brace in the bottom could help solidify it and with help of you bodyweight while using..? Maybe..? Excited for you! Best of luck!
I had a coworker probably like 15 years ago that had an almost identical looking Mini with I believe a Honda B16 swap, could've been a B18 but I think it was a 16. Thing freaking ripped.
Hey Sam maybe you could help me out I’m trying to get a engine for 02 Lexus IS300 what’s a good website in Japan that I could order one... keep those videos coming
I would ditch that frame straight away bro once you think your improving. You need a strong stable frame with no movement for sure. Try a Trakracer rig. Not to expensive but solid as. I personally have the TR8 set up and love it.
As a sim racer myself you should've got a better rig. Maybe a simlabs or trakracer or even the gt omega Titan. Also fanatec is putting out a new direct drive wheel base that's cheaper than some belt driven wheel bases. I've been sim racing for years and years man. If you need any help feel free to message me.
I wish we had somewhere in the us where we could just sell our random stuff lol
Love your gsx bro
Wish I could find one
Marketplace
@@streetboyz1096 yeah but they're rare
EBay motors
6:37 love how the shop just blasts ayumi's kanariya lmao
I think sam has forgotten about his second channel "Sammit Raw" 🙃🙃
Lol just checked it out, never knew he had a second channel, still got like 6k more subscribers than my actual channel 😂😂
Maybe he has no use for it anymore. Just like the parts in his van.
Should’ve sold it at up garage then
@Stroman Powlowski come on bro
@Stroman Powlowski wtf you made me see
so underrated mate idk why more people dont know about you
Spread the word friend. I have.

Subaru’s die before their brakes do
Should of kept the seat slider for your sim rig. If you ever want to upgrade look into Fanatec.
SAM I HAVE THAT EXACT SIM FRAME, its super worth it to put a few bracing bars, I put an X bar to stop the lateral movement and the ones on the side you talked about doing to stop the up an down movement on my sim, and it made the entire thing so much better
You may want to remove those center caps before your track day they will "melt" and fall out
Glad someone else noticed noticed. I was like ohhhh rookie error. Breaks get way hotter doing trackdays
Learned that the hard way 😂👍
theyll be fine not even Sebring phased mine
Sim rig on the desk, if it is not a solid wood table, you are meant to have something else underneath to spread the forces.

Sam i litterally watched every single one of ur vids and liked every single one. lol
Cant Wait to be able to walk into upgarage myself hopefully 2022!
I'm late, but I recommend the next level racing wheel stand. Realllly sturdy and haven't any bolts lose after hours upon hours of sim driving.

Happy days.

I bought the same sim rig and have the same issue with the wobbles. Also looking to reinforce it so its a little more stable.
Love these videos! I dream about being able to shop at a place like this

Question:. Do you have to go thru shekken (Inspection) every year or is is only once?
Subaru brakes are often used for conversions because the factory booster is so small I think?
Check out the Track Racer Tr8 Mach 3 I got the version with a seat and monitor mount but the basic version is around $850 aud without a seat. I’ve been loving mine the past few months !
Nice sim setup. You should look into getting a Samsung Odyssey+. Cant wait to order a Sammit pin!
Wood glue /CA glue. toss some thick CA in it then tape it as a clamp until glue is hard.
you just cracked the glue on the veneer.
Wow does anyone know if there are any shops like this in Australia perferably the Canberra area?
Nice! I have the same sim rig, I used the sport seat from my old e30. Oh and you can put the shifter wherever.
If you want vr headset for ya sim rig. Get the oculus quest 2. Its really good. Via wireless. I use virtual desktop app. And it works seemless with vr games etc. I just purchased a used g27 myself. My guess is 20 bucks for the parts.
For the sim, I think you have what's necessary, if your pc can handle VR then you should be having so much fun!!
Attach a door card to the wall beside the sim rig for extra effect
From Mount bash . Rear and bash bar mount
Have you considered a We are likewise steering wheel?
I had a coworker probably like 15 years ago that had an almost identical looking Mini with I believe a Honda B16 swap, could've been a B18 but I think it was a 16. Thing freaking ripped.

Hey Sam maybe you could help me out I’m trying to get a engine for 02 Lexus IS300 what’s a good website in Japan that I could order one... keep those videos coming
Eyyyy I’ve got the same Simulator Frame! It’s got quite a lot of flex in the wheel mount but if you’re drifting you won’t notice it 🤘🏻

As a sim racer myself you should've got a better rig. Maybe a simlabs or trakracer or even the gt omega Titan.
