What extension are you using to resize Chrome to mobile size without using the dev tools?

im not using any resizing extensions. Do you mean resizing the window or the responsive design? you could also ctrl + to zoom in and it will also change the layout of the design.

ive seen a different bento grid design built with flex, so its possible. but i think CSS grid is easier to build bento grids with
