I agree completely regarding groups and tours! If I am forced to take a tour I struggle (although short tours of historical monuments are generally fine). When I have been snorkelling in the past - groups of people were taken out onto the reef but there was no need to stay together. But I am a confident swimmer and the tour companies need to cater for the least experienced swimmers. Snorkelling is wonderful - the water in your video looks so tantalising.
It would also be a major setback for me. I would be more than happy to support you, if possible. You just prevented that I would have a disastrous experience. Your honesty will help us all. There are followers who may enjoy such trips. Thank you
Lol. Go on a tour and hear the music they were playing on the boat, it's much worse. I finally asked if I could put on some Egyptian music and they let me, but it's not in the video because it would have been copyrighted.
@@redaawadallah4518 Yeah anything besides what they were playing. I had to find some louder, energetic music to mask what was actually playing on that boat 🤣
Thank you! I know my preferences aren't always aligned with everyone else's, and the Red Sea truly is beautiful! I'm glad I went, even if it wasn't really my cup of tea. Many people would probably enjoy this type of thing, I think tours are just not really my vibe, I'm too stubborn and independent and don't like to follow rules, be told what to do or be in groups, so it felt awkward and a bit boring for me. But lots of people would probably love it and I can understand that. I had a good time....it probably just would have been more interesting to me if I had I convinced a fisherman to show me around in his boat for the day instead of the tour 😅
Haha. I like to mess around ua-cam.com/video/kerE5OLsLEI/v-deo.html I don't practice or sing often though, just kind of random improvisation any time I do sing
Lol. Well, different people like different things. I think it would have been a bit more enjoyable had I been with a friend. But I also don't prefer extremely touristic places, and Orange Bay was certainly that.
Hi there! Great vid. As I was in Hurgada I decided not to go there))) But you endure it. Thanks to prove me right! Keep on doing good job showing us Egipt. What about sharm el sheik?
I haven't spent any length of time in Sharm, I have only passed through, but I would bet a lot of money I would dislike it. I still plan to visit Sharm in the future and spend a few days there just to experience the place (and perhaps confirm my suspicions that I would not enjoy it), but no plans in the near future to visit Sharm. I much prefer Dahab if I am visiting the Red Sea.
@@Gventures I think you would enjoy Port Said. Everyone seems to be way more chill and laid back on the road (which might take some adjusting after Cairo), and there's history everywhere you look. The beach is definitely not the best, but it's a cool city.
@@youtubechannely Haha, actually I went there with my boyfriend a year or 2 ago and we didn't really like it. But there were complications while we were there that may have affected my attitude and perception of the place, I want to go back and give it another try sometime.
Many thanks for your efforts with this video. I believe I read that Hurghada has a decent Museum and there's an aquarium that looked interesting as well. Might you have any inclination to check places like those out while you're there? Keep up the great work!
Hmm, I'm not sure...I considered the aquarium but then thought about all the kids that would be there and the shouting....😆Perhaps I will check out the museum though. Thanks so much for watching! 🙏
To be honest, not much to do that isn't sea related, unless you take a day trip to Luxor or something for the history there. In Hurghada it's just hotels, beaches and the sea, so snorkeling, scuba diving, visiting the islands, etc. They have parasailing and ATV's you can ride out into the desert as well. I got my tour on Getyourguide.com and that website will basically show you the variety of tours/activities one can do in Hurghada. The prices aren't too bad on that site either, definitely cheaper than what a hotel will charge you for the same or very similar tour.
Thank you for making this video. Looks like I won't miss anything not going to Hurghada. I'll be in Luxor next week. Hoping to see the Sekhmet that is locked in a room at Karnak. Do you know anyone in Luxor that might be able to show me that? Hope to see you in Egypt, if our path crosses. Take care🙏
Yeah, the Red Sea in Hurghada is very beautiful, but it is just that - the sea, beaches you must pay to access unless your hotel is on the beachfront, relaxing in the sun and tourists hanging out at fancy hotels and resorts. I doubt I will return 😅 Unfortunately, I don't know anyone that can get you access to Sekhmet. But you could try talking to/bribing a guard to let you see it 😅That is what I would try and do. Maybe there are some tour guides out there that could also work that out, but I wouldn't know, as I never hire guides. You would probably end up paying more if you had the tour guide try and set that up for you anyway, as the tour guide would likely charge you more than what you would just bribe the guard at the temple. It's worth a shot! 😅And yes perhaps we will cross paths when you are here, ya never know! I wander around a lot and have randomly run into people that subscribe to the channel, which is always awesome for me!

@@mahmoudnayel2932 🤣Very true. It's good for the people who work in this industry and for the economy in general, but I am just not the type of person that enjoys tours or being surrounded by other tourists.
