Just got my sample of WHISPER IN THE LIBRARY while getting the other brands perfume, & boy lemme tell you it's been over 3 hours - it feels like I've been on this ride where my memories are stacked upon and I'm getting snuggles from each of them. The whisper is so subtle yet so loud that I feel lost into it. It gives me a hint of what my mom used to wear 8 years back. One of these days I might just grab a bottle. I am not a perfume guy or anything, but it's warmth is so endearing. 💫

It was warm smell with a hint of vanilla & in its warmth you could almost melt. It reminds me of the trip to rural mountains of Nepal I took with my mom, the smell carried throughout journey as it dwelled along the breeze of forest. The smell of crunchy old fallen leaves, the soil, greens of the jungle, faux leather seat of the vehicle we took ride in and the fragrance of my mom's parfum is what it reminds me of. I haven't had luck on getting whispersinthelibrary however I spray the sample every once in a while if I have to keep myself cozy as it takes me down the memory lane. :))

Interesting. Her comparison of By the Fireplace to Jazz Club is exactly opposite of mine. I find Jazz Club to be very subtle and subdued, whereas By the Fireplace really seems to jump out and grab my attention.

Fireplace works best when it is cold out as it does smell like a fireplace. Whispers is a great indoor scent and can work most seasons (though personally I wouldn’t wear it in summer). Whispers is also more of a calming scent. Fireplace is more of a cozy scent.
Best description of the difference between Jazz and Fireplace - Jazz is more energizing and Fireplace is more comforting. I’m really wanting Fireplace. I thought Coffee Break would be the best smell ever but it smells like a mish mosh of chemicals on me, so that’s disappointing.
Do you have suggestions of best place to get for the price? seems like Sephora and Nordstoms are the main places and they're retail. Maybe it's hard to find them brand new at discount? thx!
Gary King I’ve never really seen them on the grey market. Like you said, only really at Sephora. Sometimes people sell them for slightly discounted prices in the Facebook groups

Whispers in the library im think newspaper smell but never tried it . i collect comic books & interlude man smells a lot like the older comics that were printed on newspaper stock paper as a pose to the new magazine style paper.

Lexi is too cute, and so right! I think that it is so dumb to make cologne that smells like lemons or oranges, the same things that kitchen and bathroom cleaners use and smell like,or even an air freshener? It was a big mistake for me blind buying Dior Homme Cologne because it smells the same way!

I enjoy both but I like the candle version of by the fireplace way more than the fragrance version. Wait until fall when it cools down & test out jazz club again. If it sparks instant joy, then definitely consider it!

Ohh, I see. There’s a coffret set available, and I’m so excited to hopefully get it! Never tried a Replica fragrance, but I’m not a fan of most generic, designer fragrances, so I’m going to buy the set based on my research alone. They sound amazing!
