    Leeches - people who are not real players, but they latch on to our top tier players and boast them as their best friend and use them for their comps such as food and free rooms. And they even talk to us AS IF they are the top tier player. Freaking leeches.

    The most obviously likeable patron in the casino... a George, meaning he/she's a good tipper. Always try to be more generous than tight when tipping at casinos (except to the occasional grumpy casino employee), it's a small amount of your overall spend and usually makes for a good time with the employees too. 👍

    “Vultures” better be careful. Any unclaimed money is considered property of the casino. I’ve heard of players that took a ticket or chip they found on the ground or at a machine and were confronted by casino security shortly afterwards. If you’re lucky, all that will happen is they will take what you found. But sometimes they can take all your winnings from you, detain you for questioning and in extreme cases press charges against you. If you find a ticket or chip that does not belong to you, leave it alone. It’s not worth the risk.

    We call casino vultures as someone who hangs around you waiting for you to leave a machine. They sit down on one side put in $20 and strike up conversation or just stand behind you. I just slow play and call my brother and say I'm going to spend my whole time on this machine. When do you want to go He will say a ridiculous amount of of hours and I will repeat it. Usually 4 or 5 hours. Casino vultures usually hang around classic machines more than "penny" machines

    I had the rare occurrence of winning two jackpots one night, and the same attendant (who I generously tipped) did the payout and said to the person next to me, he is a “HUYA.” (Hew-yah) I did not know that stood for “Horseshoe up your ass.” I guess it was nice to be labeled a HUYA for an evening.

      Correct. Also it’s an arrest-able offensive. If you self-exclude or have self-identified as a problem gambler it’s considered trespassing to return. However, it is important to note that you have to have admitted to having a problem and this is a self identifying incident. The Casino cannot just claim that you are a problem gambler. You would’ve had to be made aware that you were not allowed to return.

      And a big loser. I have a friend who has degrees in stuff like statistical analysis, advanced math, and applied mathematics types of stuff.
      His first job out of college was with one of the big slot machine companies. One of the first jobs he was assigned was to figure out why their machines had a drop-off. He said he never could figure it out but that after approximately 13 to 14 minutes of continuous play, the payouts would drop significantly. This was not supposed to happen and was not programmed into the RNG algorythm. It is just an anomaly that he could never figure. He went over every line of code (millions) many times and could not find anything to explain the issue. The gaming company is honest and wanted a player to have the same chance to win at 1 hour as they did in the first 10 minutes. They dont need any more edge than the law allows, and plus they know that people need to win to want to come back.

      @@RedWhiteAndBlue4evr1That's very interesting. When I play slots, if I don't win anything significant in the first 10 spins, I get off the machine and find another. If I win more than what I put it, I immediately cash out. Put the voucher in my wallet . Usually stay in a casino only about 3 hours playing a variety of machines. 99 percent of the time, I leave with more money than what I came with. Sadly, my wife isn't that lucky, so I give her some of my winnings

    Cowboy thank you for all the great and informative content on slots! You have mentioned in many of your vids that the chance of getting a HANDPAY increases with the $10 denom machine so would a $5 machine with 2 credit max be included in that or is it specifically a $10 denom machine?

    • @CowboySlots
      @CowboySlots  Рік тому +1

      The higher the denomination, generally the higher the payback % setting on that machine. HOWEVER, the difference between the % from $5 to $10 is unnoticeable. If the $10 doesn't give you a benefit by betting max (such as a bonus round), then play the lower denomination in order to activate all the features, progressives or top line jackpot amounts.

      @jasminepainter1897 Рік тому +6

      The terms in this video are not necessarily negative, just slang that casino patrons may not be familiar with. The term 'tilt ' is often used in poker, meaning that a player is upset and acting out and/or making bad decisions based on emotions. As far as being on tilt at the slot machine, you're right that the casino won't mind that a player spends all their winnings back. But perhaps they are causing a scene or damaging property, then tilt would be a bad thing.
