Hey enthusiast, great video. I was just wondering if it’s possible for Japan to make multiple successful influence rolls on chinese warlords to make dadao even larger. E.g. turn 1 it has a successful influence roll on suiyan and dadao is created. On turn 2 could Japan make another influence roll on beiping/hopeh to add to Dadao territory and make them even larger?
Yes! Note that Japan must have a Japanese-possessed land zone adjacent to a warlord to make an influence roll, so after those 2, Japan will have to try and capture other land zones adjacent to warlords to attempt to grow further. But with lend-lease, Dadao can capture more territory from CCP and KMT on it's own!
@@GW36_Enthusiast Oh wow so Dadao could have 2 separate areas of territory and get quite powerful without Japan ever aligning them. Thanks for your response!
In one of my games my Japanese ally also went for the "pacifist" strat. He was really lucky on the 5 D12's USA got after DoW on UK and just completely left China alone. If it works, you can really snowball outta control with Daodao. With the Lendlease too it basically means you have a free minor factory in Kwangtung for the inevitable invasion of China.
Now, heres a question. If daodao is created, does daodao get the ipp from the land zone it is created on and have a bank that it can spend similarly to the KMT and CCP? Or is the only way it gets new units through lend lease from the Japanese
@@Seriona1 The backfire on a "12" thing is exclusively for KMT. KMT has no way to directly influence warlords themselves. Their only hope is for CCP or Japan to screw it up!
@@GW36_Enthusiast I'm talking about KMT can invade Mongolia under certain conditions. I thought Morten by accident allowed Dadao to happen in Mongolia.
@@Seriona1 Ah, I see! You are correct that CCP, Dadao, and KMT can attack any land zones originally with a Chinese warlord, KMT, CCP, Manchukuo or Mongolian roundel as well as Formosa and Hong Kong.
Thanks - well done, as usual!

Very interesting! I like your concept of almost having a free factory with the ability to Lend-lease to Dadao!

Dadao doesn't collect income. It doesn't have a National Reference Sheet and can only get new units via reinforcement rolls.
Hey Enthusiast, been out of the loop for a bit and I have a question. Is the Dadao government part of the core rules or is it from an expansion?
Core 4.2 rules
Greetings, Winter! Seriona's correct - core rules!
Isn't Mongolia consider a Warlord or is that just to the Chinese?
No, Mongolia isn't considered a Warlord, but rather a minor nation controlled by USSR. You can't currently influence Mongolia like the Warlords.
@@GW36_Enthusiast So it's an exclusive KMT thing. Thanks
