Congrats to CGB for unlocking the Breaking the Bank Achievement by somehow managing to cast, remove all the Counters from and doing all damage with 4 bank busters... Shuffler is fine 🙂
Ah yes the matchmaker.. so random.. so fair, lol. I remember a lvd video a few months back featuring a graveyard synergy deck and he got matched up against a (the only) mono red player running the full playset of unlicensed hearse in bo1, incredible

Idk why I didnt craft a deck like this sooner, I already had all the cards, and I've been sort of banging my head against a wall lately. I had the most fun milling with Jace during release so why did I not go back to that sooner. Oh well, thank you for the inspiration to play azorious with black removal again!
So, 4/5 matches I played against today had invoke dispair. How do you beat that card with this deck? Do you throw away a wandering emperor to reduce the damage? I think this deck really needs some counterspells
I don't think I ever saw 4 bankbusters on the battlefield and in a 0-1-2-3 counter spread. :) EDIT: scratch that: 4 bankbusters all with zero counters?? GG
20:16 I hate that version of mono blue, all they do is throw cards into the graveyard and believe that because their creatures are big they will live. It's so dumb.
@Only the Sith Yeah I get that. There's just an abundance of artifact creatures thanks to BRO and ONE. I feel like decks running the color black benefit from early removal, paired with the fact that Sheoldred is one of the best creatures in Standard, you should be able to gain life and outpace your opponent.
Just tried. It has no idea whats happening. It listed cards that are not standard legal, the deck was 48 cards total and only 4 of them were lands. I tried rephrasing the request a few different ways but they were all illegal piles of nonsense. Too bad, that would be pretty cool!
@@alaingamache3908 Frustrating but I get it. I posted the comment then went to try it myself with a Brawl Deck and several of the cards weren't even in Arena.
I love when you comment on the capitalistic algorythm on arena , the balancing act. I find the matchmaker most and the shuffler 2nd most predictable at 500 600 games per season. cheers
A deck to lose to aggro and control, but beat midrange. Union is such a gross card because it lets you beat aggro while sitting on the Dissipates to beat control.
This a really bad deck, it is supposed to be control but it doesn't control anything beyond wiping the board(too late too often). No one should play this for ladder, it's fun but not for ranked.
Love the backhanded comments about mono red. Spoon-fed wins 😂😂 ...so great! Mono Red SUCKS!! STOP PLAYING THIS CRAP! IT'S BORING TO PLAY AND BORING TO PLAY AGAINST!!
@onlythesith777 Yes tempo blue is horrible too. But at least it plays magic. Mono Red wants the game over ASAP. As to where I want it to last and do cool things. Historic brawl is my brand tho, great control Mage's lurk there lol
cgb SOS. I am ready to uninstall the game. i am totally addicted to it and i love that situation. I enjoy playing the game. I am 39 and my first magic experience was back at 1996. I am going to uninstall because the game is totally fixed. The shuffler is NOT fine. I know that you are joking but the problem is very big. I have noticed that at your last videos you can predict the game from your opening hand. It is true, i can do it too. The worst part is how the game manipulates the turns and the draws in order the game to become a thriller. Incredible top card when your opponent just find the land that is a tapped one and the next turn will win. But no, incredible top card for you and you win. Flood and drought all the time.. And vice versa. again and again and again. Some of you, like you cgb, you have power. You have to unite and communicate the problem with wizards. I dont know the way and i dont know if this is doable but i dont want to stop playing my favorite game. thank you and sorry for my English. plz comment
the biggest example of how the game is rigged is how it matches opponents based on deck and cards. its absolutely insane how much it varries your opponents depending on the deck you are playing. There are countless examples of people playing jank cards for it to match you against people playing the total jank hard counter to it. Recent examples for me is I play aggro, nonstop matches vs other aggro and midrange, I swap to control deck with sweepers, all opponents are super friends and and counter spell decks, all aggro and midrange is gone. This is in diamond rank btw
@@kosmi1983 So you are saying that the amount wizard's makes has some sort of correlation with win rate? People spend money on magic to build the decks they want to build. That's why wizards puts so much focus on cosmetics in mtga. On a very basic level, you could flip a coin and get heads 10 times in a row, that doesnt mean eveyone will.
IME, Blue players are among the most childish on the platform. There's definitely something about the population players who want to run a deck that makes your opponent miserable to play against that incline them toward being rude with their emotes and roping you into oblivion when it becomes clear that you've outplayed them. I first saw it back in ZNR Standard with Rogues players and it's only become more pronounced as time's gone on. Aggro players almost always just dip when it's clear they've lost and midrange players tend to fall somewhere in between. Blue players, in general, and control players specifically are why I've taken to just leaving emotes off. I don't need your rudeness with emote spam while you're furiously smashing your...spacebar because you just countered another spell, drew some cards and gained some life.

Yep that last game was the literal definition of "bustin makes me feel good"
It's decks like this that make me wish Gandalf never defeated the Balrog
this deck is fly, you fool.
(Sorry, couldn’t resist)
It's the Balrog's fault for running roll face on keyboard level mono-red.
Gandalf died in the fight against the Balrog. He just got resurrected afterwards. So let's call that fight a DRAW.
For anyone who doesn’t know (blue-white control is Gandalf) and (mono red is Balrog ,although the colors are technically black-red)
The 4 buster game warrants a "bustin makes me feel good" video compilation..
My thoughts exactly!
I built a new Mill deck yesterday. Faced 5 straight decks with more than 70 cards in them. This shit goes on in RANKED btw.
Were you not around when Mill decks were as common as monored?

@ 7:25 how did you get a wandering plainswalker off of farewell? 7:26 wtf??
It was under a ossification that got destroyed by farewell
CGB, I'd love to see you make a deck around All Will Be One. Seeing how you'd use it to make a fun deck would be interesting to me.
I second this
Would be cool,
The four completed bankbusters were epic!
@9:12 what about attack so the buster loses shield counter then depopulate then make a creature
Thought the same thing. Opp would def block to save Elspeth at 1 loyalty counter.
The last game was just a beating. I found myself saying “enough CGB, they’re already dead!”
The Bankbuster fleet was a sight to behold.
So when are you going to make the Jin prismatic bridge deck that you have talked about for months or did I miss it lol😅

I wonder if a discard desk with that blue creature is possible in standard.
