I love the cobi brand, they might just surpass LEGO with its amazing variety and aim towards all ages
Cobi is specialized in history and military themes. LEGO is much more family friendly and all their military sets are part of fictional universes. Both companies are good on their own rights, although LEGO is the biggest toy company in the world.
I highly doubt they’ll surpass lego, but at the moment I like Cobi a bit more because of its versatility and uniqueness
Wishful thinking, Lego has more fans and has been around for decades
I like both, Lego's figures are way better than the ugly little freaks Cobi use though!
They’ll surpass Lego if they match it in terms of quality control and tests. Rest of their success will be cuz of Lego’s “no violence policy”
I love the rare occasions when Cobi makes a WW1 set, even better made with The Tank Museum!
An upgrade for sure.
The details got way better. I also like the gun mounts more because the gap between them and the rest of the extension got smaller.
I appreciate their work on the tracks. I know it can be really frustrating when tracked vehicles don't want to behave properly.
At this scale tho I would think that more interior detail could have been included. I mean some of the blocks could have been removed without hindering the overall structural stability of the build.
I usually don't talk about figures because they don't interest me that much but this time I have to. Cobi figures tend to have great torso prints but their faces lack much to be desired. This time I think we have gotten a good old switcheroo. The face actually looks decent but the torso print is really bad. Not the quality of it - it is nice and opaque. But the design looks... not that great.
The pricing is not that bad but we have to take into consideration the increased amount of tracklinks which add to the part count by a huge margin. So it is not the best deal out there but surely it is not priced outrageously.
Overall the Tank museum can be proud to have one more of it's vehicles done great.
About the price, I know if lego released this tank, it would cost about 80 to 100 dollars

I find it confusing because it the bags,1,2 and 3 have bags inside of it!
Overall cobi seems like a good choice if you like history.
The instructions are kind of confusing but overall cobi is good

Despite the smaller size, good to see the treads have been improved. Fantastic level of detail though unsure what the unattached chained element at the top is supposed to be for.
I like how it flies around when you push the tanks lol
That was carried to help the tank if it got stuck in soft ground. It was either placed, or carried by the tracks themselves(not sure), to give the tracks something firm to push against.
The thing on top helps the tank to get out if it gets stuck. You would place it underneath the track and it would drive over it. I saw pictures of these tanks with multiple logs on top of it.
@@get-memed I think the logs would help the tank cross wide trenches.
@@jacobgoodstone7572 mabey. One log would probably be used to put under the track to get out of mud for example but multiple logs strapped together would help to cross bigger gap's.

I don’t know what it is but my Predecessor tracks move VERY VERY easily and well so I’m not sure what it is but it is very nice would say predecessor is better but the new one definitely looks better from the outside

For anyone who doesn’t know what the beam on top of the tank is.
The beam on top of the tank is called an unditching beam. When the tank is stuck in a ditch the beam would be chained to the tracks then the tank would drive forward and when the beam is under the track the tank will roll over it and it will be free from the ditch it was stuck in.

I love how Cobi also leaves additionals parts should gets missing,does Lego still does those features?
The extra parts are actually due to the way the bags are filled. It's easier for the machine to drop in a few extras than risking being short, so you always get the same weird little leftovers.

I hate that cobi keeps replacing the tracks everywhere, the Tiger II for example had tracks that were 3 studs wide while the Tiger II (P) later had only 2 stud tracks what looks absolutely cursed
