I too am a long time lover of Sunflowers. I always have a bottle of that and True Love by Elizabeth Arden in my collection. Old school classics in my opinion.

To me they are almost spot on, with the Lattafa being stronger in performance.

I find the whole Mugler house fascinating. Alien is the most terrible smell to me. Instantly turns my stomach. It’s hard for me to understand how anyone finds it sweet or sexy. However, I adore Alien Fusion! It’s wild! I like Angel quite a bit. I really dislike Alien Goddess but very much like Alien Goddess Intense. There is something about their DNA that is so polarizing. It intrigues me!

My first perfume in high school was Giorgio Beverly Hills Wings. My next perfume was Giorgio Beverly Hills Red. I absolutely ❤ that fragrance. Unfortunately, Red has been reformulated into a hot, nasty mess. The company should have just discontinued it, instead of destroying it.
Hi ladies, that La vie est Belle bottle Was actually designed im the 40s and they just never had a perfume. They thought they should use it with until the original perfume came along. That’s the story that the Lancome rep told HSN when they were on that channel promoting the perfume.

This was in the late 80s so I don’t wear them anymore but I loved them back then. In my 20s my signature was Calvin Klein Eternity, and in my 30s I bought Gucci Envy and it was my signature for many years.

I'm talking body products, laundry soap, laundry scent booster, car and carpet scents, as well as candles and melts. Great quality and great prices, just Google them, if you're interested.
I was 14 working my first job in the mall, and a lady walked in, I asked her what in the world is that lovely perfume?! She said Sunflowers. On my break i went to the perfume store there a few shops down and bought it instantly. I found it at my baby cousins house the other day and remembered it and she said, yea I got it because it reminded me of you. I said when you were 7 years old you remembered what perfume I wore!? I’m in my early 40s and I wore sunflowers in middle school. My scent is love to have again is Tribe by Coty. I wore that all through high school. And those body sprays that smelled like gummy bears 😂
Lliz Claiborne in the triangle plastic bottle is iconic to me. I loved it, it could give the worst headaches because it was a beast. I think it was the first beastmode frag lol. It was so good.

Fun fact? I’ve never smelled Sunflowers! Hard to believe really. Now I’m intrigued. A really interesting thing I learned following some layering threads is using Donna Karan’s Cashmere Mist with summer fragrances like Lust for Sun, Liz Claiborne’s Mambo, Alien Goddess (etc) really adds a beautiful sparkle, and fluffiness that I ADORE! I bought Byblos very early in my fragrance journey and I liked it at first, but testing it recently I couldn’t get past the hairspray vibe which surprised me! JHAG is definitely a divisive house, think it’s their ISO E / Ambroxen that people sensitive to it find off putting. I absolutely ADORE Vanilla Vibes!! I go anosmic to it but it’s been one of my most complimented fragrances; really radiates with body heat. Ode to Dullness is gorgeous too! I wish their Pear, Inc was better on me, but it fades soooo fast.. and I love pear 😢 And for people who may find Alien a bit too indolic / strong, try Armaf’s Sacrifice for Her; it’s like a fresher version and really beautiful. Had to let it macerate but it was so worth it.

Sunflowers is strangely my most complimented fragrance. I have random people comment HOURS after I’ve put it on. The kid at Walgreens, one of my coworkers always notices when I wear it and tells me it’s the only perfume I should bother with because it was “made for me.” And it’s so stinking cheap! Win/win!

Omg scent huffers, I love it!!!! I completely understand. Almost every night I like to get my testers out and just sample my collection. I wish I could buy some of the expensive ones but I like to buy the middle easterns and get more. Love you guys❤

I’m in my early 40s and I wore sunflowers in middle school. My scent is love to have again is Tribe by Coty. I wore that all through high school. And those body sprays that smelled like gummy bears 😂

Lliz Claiborne in the triangle plastic bottle is iconic to me. I loved it, it could give the worst headaches because it was a beast. I think it was the first beastmode frag lol. It was so good.

I think the only older fragrances I have isChanel no 5 and white diamonds is my favorite perfume I have 3 bottles of it and 2 Oscar de la renta.

Fun fact? I’ve never smelled Sunflowers! Hard to believe really. Now I’m intrigued.
A really interesting thing I learned following some layering threads is using Donna Karan’s Cashmere Mist with summer fragrances like Lust for Sun, Liz Claiborne’s Mambo, Alien Goddess (etc) really adds a beautiful sparkle, and fluffiness that I ADORE!
I bought Byblos very early in my fragrance journey and I liked it at first, but testing it recently I couldn’t get past the hairspray vibe which surprised me!
JHAG is definitely a divisive house, think it’s their ISO E / Ambroxen that people sensitive to it find off putting. I absolutely ADORE Vanilla Vibes!! I go anosmic to it but it’s been one of my most complimented fragrances; really radiates with body heat. Ode to Dullness is gorgeous too! I wish their Pear, Inc was better on me, but it fades soooo fast.. and I love pear 😢
And for people who may find Alien a bit too indolic / strong, try Armaf’s Sacrifice for Her; it’s like a fresher version and really beautiful. Had to let it macerate but it was so worth it.

Sunflowers is strangely my most complimented fragrance. I have random people comment HOURS after I’ve put it on. The kid at Walgreens, one of my coworkers always notices when I wear it and tells me it’s the only perfume I should bother with because it was “made for me.” And it’s so stinking cheap! Win/win!
LOVE LOVE Byblos!! Been resisting it since the mid 90's. Was and still is a very exotic and unique scent. Does not smell dated at all!❤
