Used Blackhawks (to speed up numbers of utility helis since the 32 ordered brand-new takes much time to complete) 3. Used F-16 (if Gripen deal fails), 4. More used C-130 (to speed up numbers of medium/heavy transport planes since the upcoming order of 5 brand-new takes much time to complete), 5. More used light utility planes (to speed up numbers of light transport, ISR, maritime patrol since the upcoming brand-new orders takes much time to complete), 6. Used E-2C Hawkeye for affordable interim aewacs ... Etc And no A-10 Warthogs. Better brand-new A-29B Stucanos or armed version of KT-1 Woongbi

Not to mention, plans for another 6 or more Stucanos (or KA-1 if Stucano deal is stopped) Years of delay also means added time for Turkey's indigenous engine to mature for being continuously used in their t129 & gokbey, so it will be the one to be used in the batch 2 order & beyond, so possible US sanctions will be avoided. Same goes to other key t129 components which Turkey plans to indigenize further preempting possible US sanctions

On the contrary we can purchase it if we wan't to, just need more purchased weapon system and we don't need to purchase a brand new weapon system that's to expensive while we can buy a weapon system which is cheaper and we can get more units too, with the same capability and designation. So AFP purchased and acquired the T-129 B ATAK coz of that reason, AFP always do what's needed to be done, always looking for a better solution, than sticking to not so practical solution. Remember we are not a Wealthy Country and we do have a little budget to work on to, so never the less we used what we have and what we can do with it.but never sacrifice the quality and capability of the said purchased item or units, although favoring a cost-effective yet combat proven weapon system.
