Iron nails much cheaper than using zinc، you can get rid of some contaminations by Washing the cemented silver with HCl, or while cementing with dilute sulphuric acid use a glassware and boil, that will dissolve any small iron particles
Hi, please tell me about the copper that you put in to solution because you have caloric acid in the solution and it will solved it .we must re run it again for extra coppers.thanks for your information.
Hello Thanks for watching 🙏 The main goal is to keep copper out of silver chloride as much as we can with proper washing so that you can recover copper from decanted solution separately using iron.
Hi, just wanted to ask how to fix a problem. I did the Lye and sugar method, and it did not work. I have a dark liquid with I think a hard lump of sugar in it. Can you tell me if there is a way to get my silver out of this and try your way. Any info would be great. Thanks again for all your great videos.
Dilute it 2-3 fold up (just enough to thin mix and dissolve sugar and lye. Let it sit (usually 1 day) then start pouring solution slowly to collect black material (silver oxide and maybe metal mix) Give it several wash to remove lye trace as much as you can , then you're good to go with any method you wish. When you get the black stuff check it out there is possiblity, turned into grey silver powder slowly. Good luck 🤞
@@Picky_Plans thanks Sir. I also refining gold, recovery silver 99.99 with Salt, Caustic soda and Sugar. I work everyday. I also would like to recovery Cu in the future. Another question for you, we can recovery silver directly from AgCl by Soda in 450 C deg. Thanks so much

Yes you can do it by soda ash or lye
