I really appreciate your transparency with what you do and how you do it! It REALLY helps those of us out who want to get into the business and not a lot of people are willing to share their secrets. Because of your videos I was able to get an item in my shop promoted on the "explore" page and it's really helped the traction of my store. Thank you so so so much and I wish you nothing but more success! You TRULY deserve it!
I started selling on flea markets and some events in my area before opening a depop account. I personally put price tags on everything because people tend to low-ball like crazy, and if they see a price point they make better offers, I relate so much to your experience because this happened to me the first time I started selling. I really enjoyed this video! ⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡
thanks for sharing- i used this to plan for mine. yeah, whoever is not posting prices, whether in person or your IG posts, you are missing out on a ton of sales! a person next to me at one had really good prices, but didn't have price tags. feel like she could've sold out the booth if people saw that most items were below 10, but not everyone will bother to ask for a multitude of reasons.
I realize this is an old video but appreciate your honest feedback on doing a pop up… been selling online and have considered doing the same but my fear was some of the experiences you had…vintage is not big in my area so it would really be only exposure to my page and maybe small sales and as you experienced probably a lot of low ball offers 😆 great video 🔥 💔
priced! i am sorry, but only reasons i can see about not putting prices is laziness or hope that someone offers you way more than you were gonna ask, but you are definitely losing out on people who would buy if they knew what you asked, but don't wanna engage in case you are pushy/get butthurt if they walk away, etc(maybe you are not like that at all, but other vendors are and buyers don't know which kind you are)
As some one who has been doing in person markets for a long time the best advice I can give is the market really matters. Rosebowl for example you can sell things over eBay price, really big ticket items and clear out a lot of inventory. But it’s all about the market Pcc flea market takes place the week before 10 minutes away and it’s a struggle to move much of anything
lol, all pop ups come with an abundant of folks constantly bugging you numerous times to accept their low ball offers until you cave or they walk away in a huff like you fucked them over somehow. really that's the only thing about pop ups that bug the hell out of me. I've done a cam one along with a few others, and they can be fun here & there when you sell primarily online!
New to your channel! Started reselling back in June. I'm really getting interested in selling T-Shirts now. Going to look into it! Love your videos! New sub here.
