Thanks for the video! I'm confused about the pond with only 1-2 tokens in it. Does it ever get more full? I don't see it being utilized so much in the game.
The Watering Hole always gets 2 Food added at the start of each player’s turn. If more species are being fed through Traits like Long Neck or Scavenger (or Carnivore as well) then they’ll use less from the Watering Hole and it will add up with subsequent turns.
Could someone plz explain why you need to do the step of placing food on your card and not just go straight into the bag when it literally goes straight into the bag right after the placing food step. Yes I know we need to see who’s eating how many but still it seems like an unnecessary step imo.

I cannot figure out the food situation! Got this for my kid, but if we can ever add two foods, my population dies after every turn.

Was her scavenger suppose to get food when he attached and when she attacks?
A scavenger eats when ever any carnivore attacks
Are you only able to add one trait to each species on a turn?
No you can add as many as you want up to the species limit of 3 traits.
