When the lease expires, the land belong to a company. If the land belong to the State,most likely the lease can be renewed or extended.eg in PJ 5. If land belong to a company ,then it's very high risk !!!

@@iherng i can recall some townhouses in Farlim, way back in 1993. When i was working for Pizza Hut Farlim on a part time basis. The set up was a bit weird.They look like normal double storey houses but first and second floors were owned by different owners
the location of staircase and the main door were not ideal. Well as you said fully sold, then as a comment over spilt water hahaha. currently on phase 3B, type B1 is about the size I like to have. leasehold until 31/08/2141. look elsewhere now.

Maybe because of the benefits gained from freehold to lease, like no bumi lot, no foreign capping and no RPGT etc in Medini.. Different market segment then?
