Not a clarinet player, but I really enjoyed the content! You’ve done a great job at making this clear and informative as possible. Keep up the great work Greg!
Basically aaying that the mouthpiece rests on the top teeth was pretty mind-blowing considering what all teachers usually say! Makes me wonder if there isn't a fundamental flaw in mouthpiece design with the reed on the bottom!
I just tried it a few days ago. A bit darker than the Legere European cut, but feels a tiny bit stuff. I think they are modeled after the blue box (traditional cut), that model has never worked for me. I am still playing legere European cut reeds!
@@GregoryAgid also took your advice and have the mouthpiece more up by the teeth instead of having the bottom lip pressure. That IS better. Thanks. I’ve been playing for 8 months. I played the flute for a while. I am so in love with the clarinet. I bought a R 13 Buffet. CRAZY 😜
Very clear and helpful! Thank you!!
Great to hear! Thank you for watching and commenting.
@@GregoryAgid my pleasure! I'll definitely go watch some more of your videos.

Hey! Yeah, I remember when my teacher shared this with me. It blew my mind and changed my sound. As for the reed… let’s keep it where it is! 🤣😂
Great tips. I took your advice and it improved my tone. Thanks!
Thank you!
I bought the European Legere synthetic reed!!! I LOVE IT. so much easier and sounds great. Thank you ❤💃

I think it's because of my over bite teeth that I can't do that proper embouchure:((
