though I had some problem with sea water It also ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxa-FNYUOM93a388gi9a4brtSCEVmrHgJH land for finding any things very easily. (thought it would work as normal due to it being water proof within certain parts of the detector), on dry land and sand worked well. My first one, so still have lots to learn
Hello , the coin in the rock is indeed the outside of the coin. the inside material of the coin is from different cheap material and leaks out rusts or something overtime and makes it stick around itself or to stuff around it. you see this alot with German Pfennig coins. we call them coinpackages since we found them a lot in the water at german beaches :)

@@BondiTreasureHunter No problem compare them with "chocolade munten" we have in the netherlands in december you probably know about those, the inside is other material, heat that up and it will leak as well :) , i saw a comment that that was a 10 pfennig coin so confirms it some what :) we made up the term coin packages (munt pakketjes} to tell each other what we found . it stuck with us
Dinar was a currency in former Yugoslavia, which Croatia was a part of until the war. So you'll probably find loads of Dinars and also Para (which were like cents).
The coins stuck in the rocks are very cool! I loved how the little fish weren’t afraid of you.

To think that 31 years ago you would not have been safe in those waters and some of your finds are related to those darker days as are those from the canals of Amsterdam & Europe.......
Every piece has its story and linked to history, who made them, owned, lost or last held them?! ......that is priceless compared to any intrinsic value...
Loving these clear water adventures, as are you both, variety is essential and fun.......although I'm beginning to miss those muddy canal finds and banter with the gang on who has pulled out the most bikes 🚲or scooters🛵 that day..... 🤣🤣

Unfortunately all those lumps of rocks and coins stuck together were formed by tar! You find the same in Greek beaches too. Locals paint the hull of their fishing boats with tar! Old technique, banned for sure but they probably still do it... And Dinar was the local currency before the 90’s when all countries in the region formed the old Yugoslavia :) Great beach and finds and great video as always :)

You should carry some re-useable hand warm packs, then you boil them to reset the chemical, and use again

14:29 10 Pfennig (Deutsche Mark) Germany, pre Euro! The core is steel and only copper on the outside, which is the reason after a long time in saltwater u only got the two copper parts left :)

The thin coin or foil is from germany. The golden color looks good after alle these years. You really need to have a trash bag under water there Was so much plastic you could picked up.
