An adventure vlog about a solo day hike from the Duffy Lake trailhead* to visit Duffy Lake, Mowich Lake, Dixie Lakes, Alice Lake, AND Santiam Lake! 15.5 miles round trip in the Mount Jefferson Wilderness, Oregon.
*a $1 day hiking permit or $6 backpacking permit must be purchased from Recreation.gov to hike from this trailhead between June 15 & October 15! (Central Cascades Wilderness Permit)

@@AZAbsolute it normally doesn't melt out until late June at that elevation. There's still a lot of snow in the foothills as you get higher up and closer to Mt Jefferson
