No it stops from mega whales dominating the server with 3hm 5 star lvl 120 heroes. If its really that boring for you then quit
What purpose does this serve exactly except cripple no and low spenders early on?
They're putting a bottleneck (base upgrades) on top of a bottleneck (hero shards) on top of a bottleneck (XP books) which will be of no consequence to heavy spenders but will just make no and low spenders a lot weaker in the early to mid game despite already being much weaker compared to heavy spenders.
True but it also stops whales from having 5* heros with es5/7 immediately. But yea it's weird lol.
This is exactly what I feared would happen. This will completely destroy the game for older players. There will be a mass exodus of casual players now I'm pretty sure.
I hope they dont make this for everyone. I can see so many players just quit cause of this idiocy

I have an account on a new server, and it really feels strange, and I will say that it costs more to upgrade a hero, I also notice that the Drop rate for many events is different, rare items are almost impossible to capture.
The question that I have is how they decide what to do? This would clamp down on a new account, how would it improve the game play? While a younger account can get level 100 in 3-6 months, but with this it was made much longer

atleast one skill should be avaible from 1 star hero.. thats really brutal you need minium 2 star having even one skill slot open

They are lowering the drop rates, they continue to do stupid stuff instead of listening to the players, soon or later people start to realise how bad of a job rivergame are doing and give up the game, god job as always by the way T
The old upgrade you don’t get the 2 slots until level 20
Yeah but level 20 is usually very cheap to get, because it's the 10 shards + a few books.
