I had that same Chiappa 1911-22 and traded it for my wife’s new iPhone lol I will get another one! I like the gsg 1911-22 also! But I loved the fact you could dry fire it when you turned the safety with that key in order to bring the firing pin blocker up to protect it!

I just have to comment. I also live in Texas, (now) . People just don't understand my love of this hobby. While I have other hobbies, this one has been with me since 1980, but it really took off in 2019. But the one thing people don't get is why I've bought certain guns, why I've sold or traded some, (but very few), and why I'm not just like everyone else. I am not a hunter, but I have a 30-06. I'm not a competitor, but I have several competition style pistols and my 30-06 rifle with a long range scope. But finally I have come here to see someone much like myself and can love the style and shootability and fun in shooting certain guns. I get it! Some guns I have in duplicate because my wife was interested, but she doesn't go shooting much and her motives are different. But I don't find many people who look at a gun and say, ooh, this is sweet. I don't have your collection but mine isn't too bad. I have several 45's, but I'm a fan of 9mm competition style pistols. I have a really beautiful rock island tcm-22 dual caliber pistol I use in only 9mm. It's very 1911 styled and it's so much fun. I recently acquired the new SA-35 hi-power from Springfield and live it and I also live the canik tp9sfx with red dot that I recently got. Lately it's been revolvers. I found a used, but very nice Colt 6 inch trooper III in e-nickel finish. It's somewhat rarer than the blued finish. But I traded it, along with a Bond arms, sweet derringer in 9mm that I hated to shoot and picked up a beautiful s&w 686-1, 4", with a jeweled trigger and hammer. I didn't teahouse how accurate a 4 inch .357 revolver could be. And it's so much fun to shoot at the range. It's a or more accurate than all of my 9mm semi autos. And it shines. Just wow. I bought a ruger single six in 22lr and 22 magnum, 6 inches. It's beautiful but not as fun to shoot as I imagined. I think it's loading and emptying that takes the pleasure out for me, but it shoots well and it's beautiful and in 2 calibers. I think I'll trade it or sell it though, when I can get my hands on a s&w 617, 6 inch 10 round 22lr. That's what I have my sight⁰s on now. I did recently sell my 2nd excellent condition beretta tomcat inox that someone at the show desperately wanted, since I had one. Oh then I'm a fan of small pocket guns too. I like the small naa mini revolvers and got one in 22 mag. I want one in 22lr too, maybe more. They're a work of art and fun at the range. I got a beretta tomcat in. 32acp inox and .22 lr inox. They're fun and the most accurate pocket pistol I've ever shot. The trigger is good and they don't hurt to shoot and so much fun at the range. I picked up an naa guardian in .32. It's fun to shoot and looks so good with wood grips. It's so well built but not as accurate as the beretta's. I'd like to get my hands on a seecanp in .32acp too. I'm also interested in the Sig p238 dual tone. They have a nice trigger and probably make .380 fun to shoot. I hate my s&w bodyguard. It's painful to shoot and had the worst trigger ever but it has the best slide ever. So I haven't let it go yet. I'm considering the sig p320 equinox when I find a nice used one I can afford. It's also a beautiful pistol. I just had to share.

Hey SMASH. I'm not sure if others have asked, but do you ever sell or trade any of your firearms or do you pretty much keep them all? Personally, I could probably stand to trade or sell a few of mine, but all my firearms feel like family and letting one go would hurt too much.
Zachery my man. its possible. Carters country will have some sometime. every few weeks for 26 a box. Also Academy will have a shipment also about every 2 months. Build your network with other gun people and when one scores you all will.
You own all Springfield if you wanna take my advice don’t buy anymore xds and invest in a Wilson combat or even a cz… you don’t need to spend crazy money but bul armory is also another great brand for the price make very prestigious 1911’s but buying little nit pick shit is a waste of money love the content it is your collection j a friendly suggestion

I was offered a job, I quit my job, Covid hit. City shut down. They rescinded the offer so i was stuck in limbo for 11 months.
