heres a neat little way to play through nib: have tristalos on field by the 5th summon, if your opponent nibs, chain tristalos to make samurai destroyer, the board wipe will trigger samurai destroyer to summon itself, then you can pop it with tristalos gy effect to summon 2 crystrons from deck and profit the deck also doesnt really care about droll too much, you can play around it quite easily in most cases other cards/engines to consider: infinitrack river stormer + regulus package instead of the cydra package, dragon ruler tidal, swap frog mirror mage package, horus
a wild thing I found is you can link summon plat gadget, use his summon from hand and then pop him with a crystron to summon the gold sarc gear monster into full gold sarc combo which is allowed because the crystrons only extra deck lock.
Infinitytrack River stormer is actually also a good alternative to infinity/nova. It only takes 1 extra deck spot, and searches regulus as your omni. Regulus can attach the detached sulfenir which you can then pop with thystvern to trigger sulenir as well. The smiger combo you posted above gets better with this for example.
All the Tuners Summon something from various locations and then Quick-Synchro using that monster (except the new one he doesn't have that restriction) The non-tuners (besides the level 5s) all can either destroy something to Summon another Crystron from deck, or banish themselves from grave for some form of advantage (searching, summoning from hand etc.) Edit: worth noting that each name can only do one of these per turn, not both The level 5s are just built diff, Sulfefnir can discard to Summon himself from hand or grave and then pop something, and floats into a Crystron from deck when he's destroyed (including by himself), and the new level 5 also summons himself and foolishes 2 Crystrons on summon
