Here in America Georgia , the white furniture phase is just about gone. We're going into jewel tones. Thank Godgrat and pale gray walls are almost GONE! Yes!
I really like the way you've painted these drawers in white and cream. The cream colour looks more like linen coloured paint to me, very chic, and I can imagine these with small clear crystal knobs on them. Or, I saw a similar piece to this and it had a great stencil in black painted on the front and over the top.
Thank you but just by adding the pop of blue it hasn’t sold so I’m gonna have to strip it and do it white. Like I say people don’t do colour round here😆

It’s lovely and the restraint is appropriate. It’s nice that they are mirror images of each other. How well does the plastic-clay applied as roses on that Anthropologie inspired cupboard hold up? I mean, people often set objects on the tops of furniture and those roses meander right across a handy surface. How durable are they? I’d love to know whether or not the glitter bead treatment helps those bedside table sale. Please post an update once they find a new home!
Hi thank you for the lovely comment it holds up quite well I add extra sealer over them and point out no to use harsh chemicals. I’ve not had any one send saying it’s dropped to bits 🤞😂

Thank you wallpaper is so good for when your furniture isn’t perfect and is something a little different I get my paper from b&q, the range,I have some from Laura Ashley and dunelm 😊
The stencilling , when it doesn’t come out perfect and you get a bleed aren’t you tempted to scrape it off and go again? I think I’m too much of a perfectionist for stencilling I’d be there with a tiny tool lifting the bled parts trying to match the stencil and generally making more of a mess. I loved the tall slim drawers you’d done with the paper. They looked really smart.
I'm in California in the US and white is what sells in my area much to my dismay because I prefer color. So if it's going to be in my house I get crazy with it. If I'm selling then I go with white for the most part. Over here I think it has a lot to do with where you live. If I was in a major city like San Francisco I could get away with more color. I'm in a rural farming area so the country or farmhouse look is popular.

Myself, I like s bit of colour but then I'm not British. If you don't have texture paste you can make your own with baby powder or plaster of Paris. I use plaster of Paris with wood glue and white acrylic paint. It's as good as the stuff you buy.

I really like the way you've painted these drawers in white and cream. I love the stencilling on the drawers but I think the handles are to modern fir the beautiful stencilling maybe glass handles or a little less modern.

It’s glass beaded texture gel it got tiny glass beads in it that stay in the shape you’ve done when the gel dries clear hope this helps
