That's true 9 out 0f 10 don't show that cable I had to do a lot of searching to figure that cable is a must have it should come with the mpc in the box from my prospective especially when it makes it easier to record vocals into the mpc lol
Appreciate that feedback man..it helps to keep stuff like that on my mind in the future too. I try to make what I would personally like and need to see if learning new gear...or just making beats and what not
I just use my mpc one in controller mode use serato sample and call it a day lol workflow is faster and plus everytime i use the warp or time stretch manually my samples sound like shit everytime idk why that is when i'm in standalone mode
Can someone PLEASE tell me the EXACT charger/model number that comes with the live 2. I purchased one from someone and they sent me a printer charger with it smh!!! It doesn't work!! I need a charger ASAP so I can charge the device back up. I've been on 26% for 2 days.
How can I use my live 2 similar as serato sample? How can I automatically slice samples and get the key and tempo? Serato sample has it set up automatically, Can this be done inside the Live 2?
I got my first mpc a week ago, and this was really useful for a beginner. Particularly as you left the bits in when you forgot to switch something off etc, as it shows people how to correct mistakes. 👌👍🎶
Thank you for this video but especially for actually using a real live sample and not a prefabricated one as I will never use splice etc …….. most videos use prefabbed samples which are already ready to use and that’s not fun at all for me.

That's the cable I use to connect to my phone and use fl studio mobile with autotune and mic connection threw fl studio mobile so yeah that's how I get my vocals into my mpc live 2 projects lol so yeah your video should help a lot of people also how to record vocals easy into any mpc 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾🔥🔥🔥

Definitely not..you can download any DAW (music production app) like FL Studio, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, etc to make beats on a computer. If you think you'd like the MPC more, that's fine too. You'll ALWAYS be itchin to spend some bucks when you get into it lol
I’m very new to the beat making game. I have the MPC Live 2. And was sampling just fine with the help of this video. I just updated the firmware to 2.11.2 and can no longer save samples. I get a pop up that reads “error saving sample” Did you run into the same issue after the update. If you did, were you able to figure out how? If you didn’t would you be able to guide me through it.

Lol..yeah man..I am always chasing the perfect set up or workflow. I did sell stuff, but then decided to go ahead and grab the Live 2. A big reason was all the feedback and questions here on UA-cam for MPC stuff. I may even grab more synths in the future..but have some other stuff to do before that
Yeah, it's just the triplet button..after doing it so much, you kind of just catch on to the timing of the MPC's quantization. I slip here and there, but mainly have it down

Hey bro how to I use the sample sample more than once without the 2nd one cutting out the 1st one?
make a duplicate of the sample and add it a new program. check out MALO BEATS he's good at explaining that

Both are the same sound though so that’s what matters most..the battery is convenient as hell though lol

You can remove the pop up q-link menu in settings.
