I really love this. I never really realised how multi talented we are until I left my corporate job. I'd over many years told anyone who'd listen how tired I was of corporate and needed time to rest, how'd I'd love to be a housewife. Most, if not all of them said I wouldn't survive and that I thrived on doing many things at once. I just laughed them off, I mean what do they know, right? Now, here I am, having quit a C-suite job in Sep 2020 and bored out of my skull🤣 After using my time off to do my own inner work, I realised that my talents needed expression, which why I was often working in corporate, having babies, traveling, starting businesses and studying all at the same time. People would often ask how I did it, and I wouldn't have an answer. I felt stressed most of the time and didn't know how I actually got through everything. Now I know that a actually thrive when I'm focused on many things rather than just one. In the past 2020/2021 gap year, I've started 4 business, started writing a children's book and already ideating how/ when I'm going to start on my PhD. I agree that we need to lean into who we really are and who God wants us to be.
Talents. Yes. I think we all need to know our talents. ❤ Congratulations on your transcendence. ❤🎉
Hello Dr. Cindy this is a great message but at 11:00 when you speak of the story in the Bible of the women at the wall of Jericho you said it was Ruth when in fact it was Rahab. ❤️ still a great overall message.

This is exactly the message for me! 🤯 I’d been angry at myself because I couldn’t stick to one niche in design and I had worked in so many different industries learning skills and getting bored. I was tortured at the thought of choosing one thing. When other people would meet me and discuss it, they would say things like, “Jack of all trades,” but I’m not. I hyper focus on a problem or something that interests me, streamline it, and then seek a new challenge. My goodness, it is so good to hear you describe the "Migrator" in such an empowering and positive light! I've spent so much of my life feeling like a circle peg being shoved into a triangle hole. There will be no more suppressing my interests, gifts, and innovative ideas! Thank you Dr. Trimm!
I would love to hear more about being a spiritual migrator/ left and right brain thinkers. I feel that’s me. Im only in my 30s but I have worked in several careers. I have been in HR in the military for over 15 years, an officer mgr/ podiatry technician for about a couple years, a cosmetologist for about 14 years, a RN for 7 years, and a nurse practitioner for now 2 years. I love a challenge. I love the freedom of creativity. I love learning about new careers & trying them. During COVID, I opened an online clothing company, dispatching trucking business, a telemedicine company, and eventually created a course to help others learn how to open telemedicine clinics. It seems to be a gift. I’m not restless & have no trouble focusing. I just get bored once I feel I’ve completed something. Sometimes I think I would function well helping others start their businesses but I know 100% I’m supposed to be working as a nurse practitioner (as I am in my own clinic). I would love to hear more about how to operate in this gift because to others I’m sure it looks like we cant make up our minds on what we want to do (but who cares…. Especially knowing now this is a gift).

This is very informative, I believe you meant to say, Rahab, when explaining how opportunity meets us in unusual circumstances. Ruth was the daughter in law of Naomi. "WHO SAYS THAT YOU HAVE TO SELECT JUST ONE PROFESSION....WHO SAYS THAT YOU HAVE TO GO DOWN JUST ONE LANE??...." THANK YOU for saying these things, Dr. Trimm. I have given myself permission to thrive in more than one field. I have also learned to choose the people to whom I share what I'm doing VERY carefully b/c I have figured out that the culture requires that people focus on one thing and ONLY do that thing in order to be taken seriously. It's a real shame. But I have worked hard enough to know who I am, and I am not about to apologize to anyone for the multi-faceted, fearful, and wonderful work the God did when He put me together. I know He was laughing. I don't say these things lightly. This hasn't been (and isn't) easy at all and there are days I wish I could just be "normal." But I'm committed to living in obedience to His voice so that I can die on 'E' and without regret.

Thank you for this Dr. Trimm! You are the first person I've heard echo what I've thought for a long time now, because most people keep on saying that you have to focus on developing one talent/gift etc., even if you have many. But I kept on wondering why would Elohim give us multiple talents, if we were only to focus on one? I wondered if this perspective was even Biblical, because in the parable of the talents, 2 of the 3 men DOUBLED the total amount of talents they received. This tells me that they had to invest time and energy into each talent, because each one had to produce fruit, in order for the overall total to have doubled! Elohim bless you, your family, your ministry and business, as well as all those whose lives you touch!🙏
