I'll never forget I once saw a gungan, with no one anywhere near him, throw a grenade at a wall and did nothing as the grenade bounced back and landed at his feet. Pure hilarity.
Data mining the demo’s files reveals that was the original hunt faction for Naboo. They are in the game as they’re used in the campaign. The devs must’ve just swapped it to Gungans at some point because they thought it was funny or something.
The tusken AI for some reason still treats Jawa's hitboxes as standard humanoid size, so they constantly aim and shoot over jawa's heads. The few kills they get are usually from lucky headshots
@@brudbrud9137 I could never out-do the amount of kills the Jawas would get on my AI teammates as the tuskens, especially because of their area attack from the lightning gun.
Because the ai of the scouts in that mode, they normally try to do headshots but for some reason they think the head of ewoks is in different height, so they miss the shoots for that meanwhile the ewoks don't have that problem
I still find it incredibly disappointing that Jabba's place never got a hunt mode. I get that it was a dlc and basically just imported from BF1, but they still should've added it in. I would've loved playing as a gamorrean guard hacking away at rebels, even if they only had one attack animation.
I remember the tusken raiders being garbage. I'd always struggle to win playing as the tuskens, but would completely annihilate them when I played for jawas
Do you think the Wampa hunt mode would've been more interesting if they limited the rebels to one class like the scout troopers and magnagusrds? Imagine wampas against rocket troopers only!
I don’t care what anyone says the Ewoks are menaces in this game. They have really small hit boxes, they blend into the environment and their rocks completely stun you leaving you open to be finished off. I dare anyone to play conquest on Endor as the Storm troopers get a victory and say it was easy
Have to disagree with the Tusken/Jawa take. I played this game to death online back in the day and the Jawas pretty consistently beat the Tuskens. Not always, but pretty regularly.

I loved the Wampa so much it was cool to play with my younger brother; I was definitely better at the game but it was cool to lose games sometimes and hunt Hoth was our coolest record for sure
The gungans always win over the super battle droids tho. And the Ewoks always win over the scout troopers tho lmao. And the jawas always win over the tusken raiders.
In my experience the gungans always win because they just spam grenades that make it impossible for the droids to maneuver, moreover they don’t suffer friendly fire point loss from grenades so they’re essentially multi use $uicide bomber$
I always found it a bit funny that gungans, despite their alliance during the clone wars with the nabooian overworld, fought alone without naboo guard or citizens. you have to admit beating stormtroopers as cute cuddly teddy bears with sticks and stones is satisfying lol

It’s still criminal to me that they didn’t include Ackalay on Felulcia and Gamorians on Jabba’s Palace, like the units are in the game already.

Ehhh idk about the ewok vs scout troopers, 95% of the time I play offline hunt endor, the ewoks win most of the time even on elite

Engineer only would be best I think! Going up to the Wampas close quarters makes the game feel like a horror movie
