Dear Ladies and Gentlemen.: Ludwig Streicher was a kind of "Vienniese-Paganini" of the double bass. - He has taught dozens of students at the Vienna Music University, and has played worldwide as a member of the ensemble of the Vienna State Opera Orchestra and as the solo-bassist of the Vienna Philharmonic. - I can imagine that the claim of copyright is indeed in the room, but the legal entity is happy to make this show available to the worldwide audience. - Streicher was a Viennese who served his city Vienna in all honor. But that was not all: he designed with the German bow-maker Bernd Dölling from Markneukirchen a special contrabass-bow with a special grab handle/frog for his students from Japan, who had smaller hands and fingers - the Streicher-Doublebass-String-Bow of Mr. Bernd Dölling from Markneukirchen-Wernitzgrün, Germany. This show is one of the few shots that shows this artist in all his human fascination. A great praise to those who provide these. Thank you! Best wishes!
