    We have this dishwasher, and love it! We don't have room for a full size dishwasher, so this is perfect for us! It's surprising how much you can load this with, and have it all come out clean! The only issue we had was a little haze on some dishes, from the cascade dish powder. Thank you for the suggestion to use liquid detergent. We'll give it a try. 😊

    • @PACKERMAN2077
      @PACKERMAN2077 3 роки тому +34

      @@1infiniteloop244 I think you all are missing the point...
      this is far more efficient and sanitary than hand washing especially when hand washing can waste more water if someone is leaving the water on using more water than necessary to rinse plates and also leaving the water running to warm up.
      I was a professional dishwasher/restaurant warewasher, the rinsing process by hand uses more water for a single plate than a basket load in a machine were several place settings can be washed rinsed and sterilized at once, plus washing machines cycle the water being used, reusing the water over the course of the load, and utilizing pressurized, mistified, superheated water hotter than humanly possible.
      I will also give you another example.
      My grandmother was a professional chef but her oven was broken for 10 years, I would have to climb underneath it to plug it in every time she wanted to use it because of an electrical issue that would cause it to not turn off or turn itself on by itself.
      During the course of those 10 years TV dinners, disposable plates, and minimal dishes became the norm, but once I bought her a new oven she began cooking like crazy.
      Large pots and pans baking, frying... extra sticky and greasy messes everywhere
      .. a sink full of dishes and oven countertop full of dishes as she would rarely wash them herself leaving them to pile up.
      When I would wash them following proper three-stage segregated chamber procedures, _(In a small kitchen, really just two stage)_ I found myself wasting an exorbitant amount of water letting it run until it got hot and also using more detergent than necessary because we had the cheap unconcentrated value brand that would get struggle to cut through the extremely soiled dishes and cookware.
      It would take me an hour almost by hand with rags and sponges scrubbing and rinsing several times, also the fatigue on my lower back as I am taller than her and the countertop was built to her height, also the overspray of water, and sloshing of suds on the countertop backsplash and wood has caused damage over time.
      You should experience this and do your research before criticizing.

      I don't mind washing dishes by hand and honestly I wouldn't have enough plates/cups to fill a regular size dishwasher and I didn't even use it when I had one in my last apartment. But I've noticed with my tendencies I leave stuff just in the sink until the sink is full and then I wash everything. Honestly this would solve that problem. It would clear all the dishes out of my sink and when this little thing is full just turn it on and go. It would basically just replace the drying rack I have next to my sink. So I'm seriously considering this and I'd probably use it constantly

    • @michaelkiddle3149
      @michaelkiddle3149 3 роки тому +10

      They usually use less water than you would use in a sink
      And because they use less water it costs less to heat it up
      The running costs are very low
      And they can be more hygienic
      Dishwashers are often misunderstood
