That looks awesome. It's great timing, too, as I need to weld something small.
I followed the instructions but used a car battery and it works great, good video, and I applaud your creativity
So whats stopping the battery pack from blowing up and shorting out from all the shortages you are doing?
Awesome! The beginning was one of those "I don't know about this, but we'll see"
The irony of the title....lmao
Stripping down a soldering iron to weld two wires together. Logical.
1.5 volt? that like a drill battery, that like 18 maybe more right?
This is a good idea!🎉
All i need now is a way to save and organise and index all your vids and tips... you inspire and teach... thank you so much for showing how things can be done. Thanks
Bloody great stuff, me likey haha
is it realy 1.5 volts? I think you used something like 20 volts portable battery...
I think the power is coming from the transformer/charger the alligator clips are attached to. I can't see what the power specification are on it. The battery just provides lithium core.
This is Epic!!
Very good🎉🎉🎉
Thank you channel, this trick is very useful🎉🎉
Whice camera use brow ?
Voltage reference was for the double A battery used
Best creator ♥ ♥ ♥
Amazing
That isn't a 1.5V battery at less 9v - 1A

Why do so mnay comments have quotation marks 🤣 clearly a badly written bot or something
This is f amazing!
Good❤❤❤
Good 🎉😮
When you were taking apart the soldering iron in the beginning... should I leave it plugged in when I start taking it apart??
Hahahahah
Yes it only zaps a bitsjdudhrgrheridje ddhddbdhe

great🎉🎉
Amazing working 😍😍😍😍😍
Good video ❤❤
great idea
great
amazing
The way of making this welding is very amazing. Awesome Working 😍
Correct 👌

MacGyver 😂😂😂 👍👍👍
nicee🎉🎉
I believe it is about 14 to 19 volt but you can use a 12 volt as well
I've had a similar video on utilising those carbon rods (extracted from Zinc Carbon or Leclanché type dry cell AA batteries). 🤔😏😎
My soldering iron has a blue handle. Will it still work?
No it has to be red
Lolololool
Omfg LoL
😂😂😂

What is the source and voltage of this welding machine. ? Is it 1.5 volts or more ?
Will 2 AA 1.5 volt dry cells suffice ?
This is such a dangerous thing to do.
1. Getting people to tear down a battery is very dangerous
2. How this works is simply shorting the battery, you should NEVER do this, shorting the battery will cause it to overheat and could result in the battery exploding or catching fire
Great video Inventor 101,good afternoon👋🏻
Genius Mcguyver
❤❤❤ good
Great work
bro u re soo har working love from pak
What is the power source?
I don't now what was simple about thst😂😂😂. But dope
👍✌👍👍👍

Battery made in Poland. China of Europe :P
Wow, what an ingenious idea! This video truly showcases creativity at its finest. The simplicity of creating a 1.5V battery welding machine at home is both impressive and inspiring. Kudos to the creator for sharing such valuable knowledge!"
wow
It was great as always
No way either, was thought a real item they can use for metal line can use for this?! 🤔
Love from Bangladesh ❤❤
👍😀
1 great welding machine
Can I use a car battery
"Wow, what an ingenious idea! This DIY 1.5V battery welding machine is simply brilliant. The simplicity of the design coupled with its effectiveness is truly impressive. Kudos to the creator for sharing such a valuable DIY project!"
So basically the battery has lithium hearth inside it? you need to sand it off a bit. And when lithium gets electric power it heats up hard. Nice!
He uses a zinc-carbon battery for the carbon rod, and sands the carbon to a point.

Even Orcas think twice about attacking a healthy Mako because of its speed and strength that's always too risky to try for.
That's why we never witness Orcas attacking and eating Mako shark 🦈.
A Mako is capable of cutting a human in half, within seconds.
Is this dangerous at all? Any professional that wants to inform me?

Yes.
Maybe a 1.5V carbon rod.
That title is misleading. It consumes more than 1.5V. You might just think of using a capacitor to quickly charge + pencil to do that menial task. Saves money. Read and learn about capacitors. They charge at a fast rate, and you can control the discharge rate.
Remember, once a friend of mine was cut in half in exactly a situation like this.
After the accident when the boat arrived the person was dead due to blood loss.
What are you?! When Orcas are afraid of this fish?!!
MacGyver 😂😂😂 👍👍👍
My dude opened that battery like a meth cook fs fs

You're basically using lithium-ion batteries as a power source, shorting the terminals through wires. Eventually you will cause a thermal runaway, causing your battery to blow up and cause injury. This whole video is idiotic. Just use the soldering iron as intended.

Can I splice in another alligator clip and clip it to my tongue?
Face....palm.....forehead....vomits! Another project from "disasters-are-us"!
