I'm ilocano and Tagalog but i must admit that Cebuano-speaking singers are mostly fantastic vocalists.
I was lucky enough to have sung at the Lincoln Center in NYC where performances are by invitation only, and we laugh at the speaking accent of our Visayan members of our musical ensemble BUT when they start singing, they really bring home the bacon.

This one is underrated... while the reviews about this video got more views i am thinking that pinoys are not yet ready for this kind of talent... they are not ready for jaya and kazee... they prefer belting than a show of true vocal power and skills... love this video a lot
I agree with you, 100%. Up until now, Filipinos' definition of great singer is the ability to belt and often neglect this style of singing. Hoping that there will be more who'll appreciate this kind of talent soon before they're gone.

Growing up in the phil.. Ang pamantayan ng ng magaling kumanta mataas boses..kaya sa mga variety shows puro biritan at sigawan... This 2 proves that you dont have to shout to sing

Jaya is one of he most underrated talents from the Philippines. I was born and raised there and was never into OPM songs not because I hate it but just found it too cheesy. But when i heard her sing Tagalog songs, she totally changed my perception. You just feel her to the core. Now I can appreciate OPM’s because of her.

If Fourth Impact had not opened my eyes to the greatness of Filipino singers with their X Factor UK audition, I would never have heard of these ladies!!!! Or any other Filipino singers!!!!
