How to Install SuperATV's Spare Tire Carrier for the Can-Am Commander

Braden is going to show you how to install this spare tire carrier on the Can-Am Commander. There is not better solution to making sure you don't get stranded than carrying a spare. Our carrier gives you a secure mounting location for your spare that's up and out of the way. With this spare tire carrier installed, you can confidently hit the trail knowing you're ready for when the trail hits back.
00:25 - Tool list
00:29 - Remove factory bolt and replace with the supplied hardware bolt
01:08 - Install the passenger side bracket to the supplied hardware bolt
02:00 - Repeat the previous steps on driver side
02:35 - Remove the bolts going through the machine cage on both sides
02:53 - Install the passenger side tube
03:48 - Repeat the same stuff on the opposite side
04:16 - Install the spare tire carrier to the bracket
05:48 -- Install the clamps to the tire carrier and the tubes
07:31- Tighten all the hardware

How much added height does this add to the commander?

This doesn't really add much height to the machine as the rack itself sits pretty flush with the roof line. The added height will come from your wheel and tire size/offset.

Yes! This sits up and mounts high enough to clear the factory snorkels.
