Kyushu: An Underrated Island in JAPAN | Cinematic Travel & Places to Visit in Kagoshima & Miyazaki

Miyazaki and Kagoshima, located in the southern part of Kyushu Island in Japan, might be one of Japan's most underrated travel destinations. You can find active volcanoes, tropical warm sunshine, beaches, serene forests and gorges here. It's definitely worth a visit.
This video records a very relaxing trip I had in southern Kyushu, featuring the following places:
🚉 西大山駅 / Nishi-Ōyama Station (the southernmost JR station in Japan)
🌋 桜島 / Sakurajima (a smoking active volcanic island)
⛩️ 鵜戸神宮 / Udo Jingu (a coastal shrine for the god of rabbits)
🗿 サンメッセ日南 / Sun Messe Nichinan (replicas of Easter Island moai statues)
🌊 青島 / Aoshima Island (a unique landscape known as the Devil's Washboard)
🌳 平和台公园/ Miyazaki Heiwadai Park (a beautiful park)
Takachiho Gorge is another hidden gem in Miyazaki. I will make a separate video telling my stories there in the future :)
