This is another example how well Tsuburaya know the Ultraman lore.
Ultraman Shadow was the VR martial arts instructor in Lady Benzene's dojo, so the perfect opponent for Regulos. And even the backstory of Gyeron is mentioned. I'm also glad to see the other Kaiju return, I even watched their episodes after seeing them here.

And yet, they make the real Zearth into a joke and coward who use his allies as shield (which failed) in UGF:TDC because the writer didn't understand Zearth character arc in his second movie.

I don't have any problem if they make Boy and Nice to be a complete joke in UGF TDC, but for Zearth, we have seen how he trained and manage to defeat Shadow with his amazing Karate technique. So yeah, it's just the writer who treated him like a complete joke in UGF TDC.

After re-watching Trigger recently I feel like that Ribut should have stayed on Triggers world for the remainder of the season thus leading Ribut in aiding Kengo and Ignis in the final battle against Megalothor.
@@ricardo3011 I agree if he had stayed he would have helped Gust Seclet with the Kaijus while Kengo stayed inside the Eternity Code for 2 years, so with the arrival of Ultraman Z and Haruki to look for Ribut and Cerebro returning together to Planet Light in the movie

Fun Fact: The 3 Kaijus that revived by Reiblood was all first debute in Ultraseven, and Gandar and Darii finally reappears after 55 years.

When Reiblood possessed Belial, Belial got a rad redesign. When Reiblood possesses Reibatos, we get...Reibatos. Also, love that most of the overseas Ultras joined the battle in Ribut's stead. Also love how the Ultramen USA have to remind you they're from the USA by throwing in English phrases where they can.
Either it's because Reibatos already is a Reinoics (unlike Belial who had to be turned into one).

6:04 After seeing the original episode this scene feels especially outstanding. For all who couldn't see Ultraseven Episode 31, Space Bacteria/Germ Darii is a parasite that befell a human, so Ultraseven had to shrink in size to make his way through the human body to fight it. It's never been a giant monster before. And that's also why Ultraman Powered states his surprise as he would have never thought to be fighting something like this.

I find it really interesting they brought up Geed's finale as the reason why Alien Reiblood is back because I thought his spirit leaving Belial's body was just symbolic but no it actually happened I find it amazing how that one scene came back in a big way

Yeah, it would be cool to see Zearth had a rematch with Shadow again after like 27 years. If Shadow can comeback stronger than ever, then Zearth can be stronger too!
It was nice to see the non-Japanese Ultras paired up to fight Reiblood's minions and it was crazy to see Shadow from Zearth coming back!
You realize this is the second time a Zarab serves for Alien Reiblood or person that is related to him to assist him? The first one freed Belial from Space Prison in attempt working together but was killed by the former

Ribut sure took his time, that episode of Trigger aired back in October of 2021. Which is also odd since Destined Crossroad didn't air until early 2022 lol
I’m so glad that they incorporated the pushing and shoving from Powered’s show into his actual fighting style
Watching the Ultra Force back up Regulos is awesome. I owe all my knowledge of the Ultraman lore to them over 14 years.
I love the callbacks to Ultra Galaxy Legend The Movie which appear sometimes. Like when the Clone Belial in Ultraman Taiga was used as a meat shield, just like he used Beth. Or like the foreign Ultramen here referencing the attack of Belial after his prison break, where they had their ass kicked by him. Also Zarab Seijin doing this is a reference. The movie was released in 2009 and still has such an impact.

He's basically the new poster child for Tsuburaya after Zero and Ribut
A lot of things happening in this episode. Even references from Geed and Trigger. Galaxy Rescue Force and Joneus guys are here too. A great start!
Actually, these are not related to Joneus, except that the designers were inspired. Beth, Chuck and Scott are all M78 Ultramen.
It here! So hype they finally using Alien Reyblood as the antagonist! He been such a menace as a ghost can’t wait to see him return to life.
And the first episode already fill with great actions especially we get to see Ultraman like Great and Powered fight again 😂. Also can’t believe they mentioned Gyeron sad backstory again. Been so long.
Now if only Rei would come back. He's the reason we have Ultra Galaxy to begin with and yet he was just pushed aside in favor of Zero. Alien Reyblood is his enemy too.

@@magentacyan6086 that's what I was thinking at the time, but if you watch again the episode 3 of UGF TDC, Zearth said "Watch me, Master! My super axe kick!" which means he already acquired the axe kick which Katsuto beg the Karate Master to teach him in Zearth 2 movie, so UGF TDC definitely happened after 2 of Zearth movies. It's just the writer who treated him badly in UGF TDC! 😂

Oh my gosh, so many return character such as Alien Zarab, Alien Rayblood, Black King, Gandar, Star Bem Gyeron, even the parasite type Kaiju, Darii and Ultraman Shadow 🤩! Amazing, with used Reibatos dead body, Alien Rayblood can made Darii same size as other Kaiju, the giant size to fight Ultraman Regulos. Despite no Jiro Dan the author as Hideki Go with us, but Ultraman Jack still exists in this series 🥲. Oh my, this amazing battle just about to begin, keep forward all of you, especially you, Ultraman Regulos 🤗!

Tsuburaya in this 2023 will be the 30th Anniversary of the epic Crossover that they did with Toei in 1993 called: Ultraman vs Kamen Rider.
My question is, do you have any plans to celebrate that Crossover for this 2023 with a special or a movie or something like that? I know that reaching an agreement with Toei is somewhat complicated, but if they managed to do that special, I know that they can do it again.
As a fan of Ultraman and Tokusatsu in general, I would love to see the Giant of Light and the Masked Rider see be together once more to defeat evil and darkness.
