PSA to everyone: As a biochemistry undergraduate, there is a science behind why we cant smell certain fragrances as well as others. It all comes down to Organic Chemistry and our bodies varying design in the olfactory system and nuerophysiological condition. Most people will be able to smell scent A whereas some may not be able to smell scent A, but can smell scent B when most cannot smell Scent B. The reason is that our olfactory senses becomes conditioned to our enviroment based on how we grew up and therefore, things that are more familiare to us, we are able to smell it "more" than others. For example, I grew up in a hispanic houshold where my mother would always be cooking with chiles and spices. For this reason, when I go to a resteraunt, im able to pick up more spices and chiles than others in a scent wherase other people can't, or if they do, its just "spicy" to them.
The whole point of this is to say this: the more we are experts and trained in the art of perfumery, the better we can smell perfumes in general, even if most people can't. Smelling is a skill that can be improved just like taste is something that can be refined as necessary to be a chef. For this reason, the best "data" to get about a fragrance is to side with the majority of people (who aren't fragrance connisures by ANY means) because they will be able to pick up more of the obvious notes in a scent and say "yeah it smells good/bad". If you ask a fragrance head, they will have a strong biase against a certain note/brand that the scent derives from and you will get a more distorted opinion (so to speak). Think about it, when your average consumer goes to a high-end resteraunt that uses niche quality and ingredients, most will enjoy the meal but wont be "oh i really can taste the 9-month aged burbone on this stake". In fact, many people will dislike the super niche and sophisticated taste in some resteraunts because they are looking for food to eat, not savor it as an art form where you need to detect what ingredients are used in your meal.
Likewise, most people will only enjoy a fragrance because it smells good or tasty, not because they can detect a certain note. The whole "ah yes i love the cardamom blended with the tonka bean, very elaborate but subtle" exists only with fragrance heads (people you wont run into every day).

Cuba, man, you got COVID! 😭😁 That fragrance is strong and lasts 8+ hours on my skin.
Yup! Took a shower around 730 p.m it's not 9:30 am and I still smell it and i only did two sprays. It's not for me but it definitely lasts long.

Shit is Strong! This was a scrubber after a sample I hit my hand with. It was still there 12 hours latter even after 2 showers. Cuba had Covid. I ended up buying a full bottle because this is unique.

Issey Miyake Pour Homme Fraiche was like that for me. Then, after wearing it for several days, and letting it sit for a week, it blossomed into masterpiece.

Moschino Toy Boy is also not something I ever thought I would buy, but DAMN its good! I dont know what it is about it, but I love it and im a 35 year old fella.
I get great performance on this one. To me it smells like if you open a can can of pears that are in that sweet syrup stuff. The good news here is that someone was finally willing to put out a fragrance that isn’t exactly like everything else from the last 2 years.

I went ahead & got it after I saw this your review. I got it for $57 so I’m not messed up about it at all. It’s cool. The dry down is good. It doesn’t project as much as I thought however it’s cool for a freshie. I’m happy with it since the bottle is unique & it’s a cool scent. Thanks for the solid review

That bad boy is banger! Super different from everything else out there. The opening is a little all over the place. But the magic happens in the mid & dry down. It actually performed really good on me. A whole work days worth.

To my nose it smells like carolina hererra 212 men mixed with a dark rose. I get the freshly cut grass vibe mixed with violet leaf and rose.

I went to Macy’s days ago to smell test different colognes and I just happen to see this freaking unique black bear 🐻 cologne bottle and I’ve been watching reviews about it! I think the Scent is gorgeous. It is a complex scent but the more I sniff it the more I like it. The performance is there even tho it doesnt seem like it. I LOVE IT 9.5/10! scent community hypes trash scent in my opinion but this one is a show stopper for sure !!!

Why is the Teddy bear ever a problem, real men can love Teddy bears too. Love the fragrance, very unique and it lasted hours on my skin. The dried down is warm and cosy.

To me toy boy is not so strong for an epd is very light. In order to get good protection you should spray like 15 times as a plus against it is too expensive for what you get. Is my humble opinion.
