@Starkiller333 VOS- Vintage Original Specification. They don't use "Old" materials to build a VOS guitar. They just age it in the custom shot to give it a broken in feel, and relic look.
I didn't know Jordon uses Eclipses! I know Andy uses Les Pauls, and I thought Jordon used them as well, unless he just switched, because I never saw him on the ESP roster.
@Samwise7heBrave I'm not sure. When it comes to Andy's sound I think It depends on the amp he's playing through, He used to use an old Marshall JCM800 pushed with the tube screamer. But during the New Junk Aesthetic era he began to use Orange amps and I don´t think those need to be pushed with an overdrive you can get them to sound as heavy as you want by themselves. And right now I've seen him with a Peavey 6505 wich is an amp made for much heavier music than ETID, so you wouldn need de TS.

@chrispinkification because etid are sellouts and the companies that make those pedals probably refused to pay them to advertise their pedals. This entire video is riddled with product placement, it's like their trying to sell you something.

it's to dampen the sound so the strings don't vibrate as much. more commonly found on acoustic guitars, but its effective on electric guitars as well.
