Any plans for a day cab variant for the JD35 Conventional cab? I don't mean just remove the coffin bunk sleeper and have a big gap between the cab and the wrecker. I could certainly see these being made official by the BeamNG Devs. Wouldn't be the first mod the devs officially added to the game, like the axle configuration shown in the crane demonstration on the day cab COE T-Series. Do you also plan to make a light/medium duty for the Gavril D-Series and Gavril MD-Series tow pack with standard, extended and crew cab configurations? Have you considered adding a pintle hitch ring to the lift that will let you do a rear tow on a T-Series with a pintle hitch attachment, or do you just want to keep it as realistic as possible?
Day cab can be chosen if you change the front frame to the day cab frame, but it becomes very short and, this would need much longer rear frame to be able to tow something heavy. For devs to make it official, they would need to optimize the cpu core usage, so more cores would be used for single vehicle physics. The JD35 may work for most people, but I have a feeling that JD50/60 will have some performance issues for many. MD series looks interesting. I'm more interested of the heavy stuff. Pintle hitch ring would perhaps work.
@funphysics4836 The MD series would be heavy-duty enough to tow the D-series, H-series box truck variants and maybe the T-series box truck variant, but not a tractor trailer combo. The MD-Series will pull a fully loaded 28ft box trailer without too much issue with a 6 speed transmission but do better with the 10 speed transmission, especially uphill. The pintle hitch ring idea came to me when you demonstrated the steer axle lift, and didn't look like it would work on the rear axle. Do you watch Ron Pratt or Casey LaDelle by chance?
I wouldn't mind seeing a folding design or rising for the fifth wheel on the wheel lift so you wouldn't need to swap and have both accessible when needed on the underlift

T-series pack is based on T-series chassis. Basically similar upfits with a bit of modification for T-Series. The JD50/60, JD35, K880 flatbed are based on K880 (T880 in real life) chassis. I think you mean the Idle raise button. Yes, there seems to be a conflict between the idle raise and the JD hydrulics. I haven't yet figured out what exactly is causing it.
@@kaarppe the positive and negative PTO actually works if I add it to the JD hydraulics, this just doesn't have much use for the wrecker unless you use some trailer that would need it for, but I'm not sure if real life wreckers have this function. But the Idle raise that toggles the idle at higher level and keeps it there, this is something that seems to work only with the devs made hydraulics and I haven't found any idle raise parameters anywhere in us_semi... Perhaps it is coded in the game to work only with devs hydraulics. I need to look more into this.
I think you may have some mod conflict. It is using standard T-series air suspension - nothing modified there. Try adding the suspension from parts menu.
