My old uncle had a full dressed indian from the 1950's, the dude also had a homebuilt hot rod and tied his Stearman biplane to a tree in the backyard to tune it up. When cool was normal.
I'd love to see an FTR-based ADV. HD has an awesome product in the Pan America, and Indian could get in in the action with a stylish and thoroughly off road worthy bike. Gimme a 21 inch front on spoked wheels please
I teach the motorcycle training class for the state and Harley Davidson. I recommend the Scout 60 all the time for short/new riders. I think HD missed the mark on the Nightster/Sportster S when it comes to options and variations.
They should have a 350-400 option. So should HD. The small classic is dominating sales volumes - Royal Enfield and Triumph have excellent models and their sales are 📈
Because I'd rather have the music coming from the speakers than an in helmet system that would further reduce my situational awareness. Also it's sounds way better coming off a big speaker, than a small helmet system.
Great that prices going down and finally a 999cc which lower the price. Good enough. But i dont understand the statement that midpegs is just for beginner. For me its all about standard fitted midpegs and im not a beginner
Wish we had an American manufacturer that would make something other than a cruiser. Yes, we get the FTR, and the HD ADV bike but I mean like a full Kawasaki lineup of American bikes. Basically, it's either Japanese or European (I have a Kawasaki, Honda and BMW)
This seemed cool.... but I don't like that the Scout 60 lineup is still using a 5-speed transmission. You can get a 6-speed on A Rebel 300, which is half the price. So monetary savings doesn't seem to be a real excuse to me.
Doesn't bother me any. So many bikes have a long first and second, then 3-6 mashed together or alternatively a granny gear first with 2-5 only really useful, that I'm fine with 5 speeds that are well spaced.
I wish the cost for these for on par with the US not sure why we pay SOOOOO much more for these in Canada. I'm about to but the 101 but the price tag hurts. Waiting on a good deal
I would really like an American company to actually make something really innovative outside of the cruiser market. Why is that so hard? What happened to us?
Bit surprised they have brought another Scout out. The market leader in style or type for bikes are adventure bikes thought they would of done an FTR version. Also as a current Indian riders not happy they are coming away from the classic looking lines of the larger baggers and Classic bikes. They have now dropped the Indian Chief Classic, stopping the Springfield Classic. A lot of Indian riders want this classic look if not you buy a Harley!! I also agree that a lower CC with a vintage look even a 750cc Classic would fill a space. Indian has had a steady decline in sales year on year since 2021 so needed something new not a re-launch. Losing the unique identity!
The monster baggers have their place. 600 pound payload. Passenger comfort that greatly exceeds any other bikes rider accommodation. Huge storage space. Navigation and sound system. Genuinely speaking, if you want to ride with a passenger, they're really the only bikes designed for it.
Yet another manufacturer who canot see the wood for the trees. All this B/S and gimicks not wanted . As for the price , not in UK. As they will find out. A grand here .A grand there basically for B/S .

Love how they went back to the old look on the Roadmaster. I’d definitely ride that
I’m still waiting for a Indian Adv bike, with the Polaris heritage it should be no problem…..

Whoa! I never thought about that and yet its so obvious to do as a next step for Indian. That would be really cool!
That Springfield tho... I have a chief vintage, which is pretty much the same bike and I LOVE it.
I love the Springfield. I thought it was a mistake to drop the Vintage line. Good to see Indian revisiting its roots.
I'm sooo digging that Springfield though. 😎 imagine walking by passing that beauty on the parking lot. Id be like damnnnnnnnn who's ride 👀

Still waiting for the new engines Poweplus & Thunderstroke.
Thanks for posting. Outstanding Indian lineup. Challenger is truly beautiful.
👍
I love how they put all of these comfort accessories on these big expensive bikes for people who only ride on warm sunny days on the weekend
Good review although not my cup of tea, but would definitely buy over a HD 👍

Awesome that they bring back Scout Sixty, for me Bobber is just perfect ❤❤❤
So... Is it time for a lighter, more nimble and more economic FTR 900?
I 'd say yes, as long as it looks and handles equally great!
I love that they changed the exhaust on it. The old 60 stock exhaust looked terrible.
I don't get why you would have speakers on a bike.
To blast nickelback and annoy far more people than just a loud exhaust. You wouldn’t get it.
To be as cringe as possible.
Why wouldn't you? Seriously. I'm in line for one of these 2025 roadmasters. And I think the speakers are brilliant!
You are not the targeted audience then lol

Thank God for RE at these prices.
royal enfield?
I'd actually rather ride a Vespa from from Florida to Alaska than a Royal Enfield.
@@generousghibli6031🤣
Install speakers in your helmet. Easy 🤠
Please convey to Indian motorcycles to revive their Indian chief vintage lineup
Scout 60 would be my pick. Great video.

The 999cc motor has been out for years !.
The old sixty only had a five speed gearbox; what about the new one?

Looks like an absolute banger this 💪
That Springfield is strong! Could literally tow a trailer 😂

I'd go for the ftr 1200 .
51mm travel on the rear shock! Uk roads will destroy that!
Neither I'll take the Springfield Please 😍
Looks like the Rebel 1100 will have some direct competition now.
Did he say 12 speakers!!
That is more than most cars or indeed houses. Overkill
Sounds like they are trying to reduce the prices without upsetting the current owners
Love Indian bikes but the insurance cost an arm and a leg

Give me that Springfield

12 speakers on a bike. Many cars dont have that.
Roadmaster please! :-)
Wtf, the engine looks as if it is made of plastic.
Shanks's poney is probably better for my knees than the scout and I don't like the big dressers.
I like the smaller engines/bikes. Enough with the monster baggers already. I don't like any of the tank shapes or fenders though.
The monster baggers have their place. 600 pound payload. Passenger comfort that greatly exceeds any other bikes rider accommodation. Huge storage space. Navigation and sound system. Genuinely speaking, if you want to ride with a passenger, they're really the only bikes designed for it.
Damnn 25k for that beauty thoughhj
Bobber all day.
Expensive motorcycles, if they’re as reliable as Victory was/is, l guess they’re “well priced “ !
Scout 60
Why are we allowing Harley to run all over ant not use the Polaris platform 108 and 112 they have a 121 that is awsome
Do you have to say fenders when you should say mudguards ?
Thank goodness it’s not just me that picked this up.
Maybe it's a regional thing but they are called fenders.
They look more like they were designed in 1925.
... I think that that is the point !.
Makes me wonder who exactly are their audience in the UK..?
I think the scouts do alright here but the big tourers are certainly niche interest
The Scouts are awesome for the UK
The scout sixty always had the smaller engine.
Disappointed. I was hoping for a street-legal FTR750 flat tracker. 😒
All these bikes lose their appeal once the manufacturer goes down the water cooled route! They just don’t sound as good.
Not a big fan of the new look of the Scout. Too round and the engine has lost the edge it used to have with the industrial look

@ayalolwut was in there 😃
