- G'day all, This morning I went to Boudi NP to tackle this coastal escarpment painting and It wasn't too hard I thought of a subject as long as got the tones and colours right.
I will surely come back to this beautiful spot and have another go painting this scene.
Thanks for watching everyone :)

I love your attitude about painting being in your soul…so you always get back to it. And taking a break from it because of work, etc. is just how life is…I was missing seeing you painting…and the absolutely stunning views of Australia you share. Anyway, glad you decided to do this spectacular painting…probably my favorite of those you have done. Thank you for sharing with all of us…we enjoy and benefit from your sharing.
G'day Nancy, Thank you so much and much appreciated. Yeah we had those moments where we feel flat and like what you said from work and all that and we lose the passion and motivation to paint. But I feel good now even though nothing's changed with my work situations. Yes, this scene is a beautiful place. I could go back there again. When I was packing up it looked even I think I will go back mid-morning one day. I'm really glad that people like send me paying and enjoy the view that I can provide here in Australia. This area where I live has a lot of untouched, natural landscapes in seascapes and I feel really blessed to live here. Happy painting! Nancy and I will see you soon in my next video 🎨🎨👍
I love watching you paint Tez so relaxing 😊
G'day Adele, Thank you so much. I'm glad it gives the viewer a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy 🎨👍
WOW! Lovely scenery! Beautiful plein air painting!!
G'day Shahanoor, Yes a beautiful place ain't it. I enjoyed painting this morning there. Happy painting 🎨🎨👍
Hi tez ... This looked like a challenging seascape at first but once you established the composition with the basic shapes it was already looking good ... Textures on the foreground rock formation and color values are right on... This is a great example of not overworking a painting!
G'day Nancy,I actually thought that. And I was thinking after that the board I used was perfect for this subject. If we keep it simple and like you said get the basic shapes right we are halfway there. Thank you so much and Happy painting Nancy 🎨🎨👍
Great texture on the cliff face Tez. Overall, a very harmonious painting. The waters around Sydney are always a more saturated colour and interesting this time of year.
G'day GT, Yes it was a subject I could go repaint anytime. The cliff looked better as I was packing up. Yes that right and I like the ultramarine blue colour in the ocean when it's in the shade. The coast is beautiful along our east coast hey. Happy painting GT 🎨🎨👍
Tez you are too good to quit, on a selfish note would miss you videos. keep painting please.
G'day Tony, I promise you Mate I will never quit doing this painting and filming. It has became my life. Got some good plans coming up in the next month Mate. Stay tuned and thanks so much Tony 🎨🎨👍
Thanks Tez, terrific result. I enjoyed the painting and the quick tour through the NP, and especially while I was warm in house.
G'day Frits, Thanks so much Mate. It was cold out there I think I should take a hot water bottle next time hey 😁
Yeah it is a beautiful place and I will go back and paint it again one day. Happy painting Mate 🎨🎨👍
Hi mate spot on, love the colours of the sea amazing 👍
G'day Col, Thanks so much Mate. Yeah sapphire is the colour that nailed that sea. Happy painting Mate 🎨🎨👍
That's pretty good. Well done. Enjoyed the video. Thanks for sharing. Bill
G'day Bill, Thanks so much Mate. Glad you enjoyed the video Bill and Happy painting this week Mate 🎨🎨👍
Powerful work. Amazing.
G'day Nik, Thank you so much Mate 🎨🎨👍
Lovely👏
G'day Lolita, Thanks so much. It was really cold but I enjoyed the painting process 🎨🎨👍
Another brilliant painting shadow on the water from the headland really makes the painting for me. Good luck with Art In The Open competition I'm sure your get in. Thanks for interesting walk to place of painting.
G'day Sandra, Thanks so much. Yes I noticed while I was painting the beautiful ultramarine shadows so I thought I have to incorporate that into the painting. I'm happy with the result. Yes I just got the email this morning I got accepted and am so happy about that. Stay tuned for some art videos while I am in that competition in about 3 weeks time. Yeah I wasn't sure if I should talk a lot but I wanna engage with you guys more in my videos. Happy painting Sandra 🎨🎨👍
Nice one Tez 😎😎
G'day Francis, Thanks so much Mate. Much appreciated 🎨🎨👍
I always called it Bood-eye....(''oo'' as in book) but the way I've heard locals say it it sounds like Bood-ee..(''oo'' as in cool)
Top show mate, nice shadow treatment in the foreground headland
G'day Mate, Yeah I've heard a few ways of it and it has bluffed me 😁 Thx for explaining. I guess the Koori's of the area would know the correct way. Thanks Mate it's a beautiful spot and I will have another go soon. Cheers 🎨🎨👍
@@PleinAirAdventureswithTezDower No wukkas, I appreciate the hard work you put into your content and I've followed you for about 6 months. I got digs just up the track from you in Newcastle and I've been painting (mostly soft pastels) for 40yrs. Might catch you round the traps sometime, cheers mate. (if y'r interested, name's Rod Bathgate and I show at (online) Cooks Hill Galleries)
@@astrogoodvibes6164 Cheers Thx Rod, Soft pastels seem interesting hey. I work in Newy also. Many years ago a artist called John Cox I think not 100% used to exhibit at Cooks Hill Gallery. He painted beautiful Blue Mountains paintings. Cheers Mate and always welcome to come painting or sketch with us. Cheers 🎨🎨👍
@@PleinAirAdventureswithTezDower Graham Cox is a dear friend of mine. His work is exceptional. Thanks for your gracious offer mate, I'd enjoy that.
Yeah he's at Champion. Love his paintings. No worries Rod. Talk soon 🎨🎨👍
