Met simmo with my dad at Wimbledon. My dad rip it was his first meeting. Simmo was so kind chatty my dad suddenly wanted to go every week !! Made such a impression on him. Always cheered for simmo. Class act simmo. Rip
I remember nigel boocock at Brandon, he was in a race where we needed a 5-1 to win, he was riding with ole olsen. They gated ole hit the front and nigel came out last and he battled all the way, on the third lap on the first and second bend he got a handful of throttle and went round the outside of both riders to catch ole olsen and they got the 5-1. What a great exciting rider Terry was in his day. We loved him at Dudley Wood Stadium (Cradley) he was so gutsty and always fair to all riders, no nonsense guy.
