If you observe the engine ticking noise, that the reason i stop turn it off. After the downhill, it getting louder. I suspect the connecting rod getting failed :(
13:20 Excuse me, but is the xt225 off during steep downhill descent so as to use (1st gear?) & clutch for engine braking?
Usually i turn off the engine on steep downhill, on 2nd gear, clutch for engine brake with foot brake also.
