I rode it at D23 preview last Weekend. It's beyond anything I've ever seen at a Disney park. It's an instant classic. Just amazing to experience in person.
This is everything a good disney ride should be. Not just "walk you through the storybook" but also not just "get in the car and spin in circles" or "get in the car and go through a roller coaster". It's everything in one, along with some great views and AMAZING animatronics!
this ride is so DOPE!!! I went with my friend to the cast member preview last week and all I have to say is WOW. Cars Land is phenomenal!! The detailing of everything is impeccable. Definitely made me miss working attractions there.
That was REALLY cool! I thought it was just the fast racing part! I had no idea that stuff like 0:00-3:16 was going to be in it with the slowness, indoor, scernery, and what happens inside. Well done, Disney Imagineering!
That was awesome, fantastic ride more than I expected, funny characters, nice length for a ride, great scenery of the waterfalls and the inside the caves, I cant wait to go on the ride! I saw the video and afterwords I applauded, This looks like a great ride!
what!? thank you for taking your time to film and upload this video! now i dont have to wait in line for six hours! DUDE RADIATOR RACERS RULES! THANKS!
This video from wdwinfo is the only one that I found with a timing issue when they approach doc before the cars line side by side. I rode this ride 4 times Saturday and we never had this problem. The attraction did have a long down time towards the end of the night and reopened about 5-10 minutes before 11, which was the time our viewing was over. But they continued to let people on and didn't walk out of DCA till 12. Sick ride!!! Wish it would go a little faster but still great fun
So excited to see this in person! We're going in a couple weeks, however we will be avoiding Cars Land so that we can go with our families...but you should for sure tune in to see all of our adventures!
wow! this looks amazing!!! i wasn't a really big fan of cars (the movie), it never allured to me like other pixar movies did. But while watching this it kinda made me remember the love and the magic that goes into everything disney, especially their attractions. Well done! wish i could ride it!
You know, I'm not a huge Cars fan... But OH MY GOD this looks amazing! As a frequent WDW visitor, I'm pretty stinking jealous of California right now!!!
I agree with you, while both rides are fun test track is my fave, although the acceleration at the wall could be a little higher. I actually had a chance to see behind the scenes what they are doing and the new computer theme seems awesome.
I went not too long ago for my birthday. Two hours of waiting. It was stunning at night time. I hope I can go again! I feel like I am on the ride again, because I know how much fun it really is.
Disney is always family friendly with the rides with the exception of the Hollywood Tower of Terror and that California rollercoaster. If you want thrill rides, best places are Six Flags. But you're right about the landscaping. It's gorgeous.
That is a BEAUTIFUL attraction. It's fun, fast, and the AA's are spectacular. Not to mention the entire man-made canyon. I just hope they fix that timing issue at at 3:38.
I loved this ride!;D line was SOOOOOOOOO long but SOOOOOOOOO worth it!I went on it 3 times the 3rd time we stood there when disneyland was already closed super fun!!!(:
It is actually uses a new and advanced version of the Test Track Technology. Test Track used the 1st ever version of the Technology, Journey to the Center of the Earth is an attraction at Tokyo DisneySea that was built using the second version, and Radiator Springs Racers uses the newest 3rd Generation Technology.
Yup the ride is a great experience for anyone that is a Cars fan. The wait is long and ride will break down sometime during the day, but if you can get on it in less than 90 minutes its a good day. I would recommend this ride to be a must if you are in CA Adventure.
You should go there. I flew there all there recently for the first time (I live in Australia). Cars Land had only just opened, so it was VERY busy. But Disneyland/California Adventure is SO worth it!
You forgot Lex Luthor Drop of Doom at Six Flags. And Six Flags is also well underway in the construction process of building a new coaster for next year. Its a great time to be a theme park fan out here in SoCal!
Autopia and Radiator Springs racers are in two different parks. Autopia is controlled by the person in the vehicle, whereas the Racers aren't, it just drives by itself with the people inside along for the ride.
There's always other parks you can go to if you want thrilling rides. This is not about creating the fastest and scariest, it's about storytelling, atmosphere, great animatronics, and one of the best new dark rides. That is what Disney is known for.
I went on it yesterday. I was in line for, I kid you not, 3 hours and 15 minutes. The ride broke down 3 times while we were in line. It was awesome, but only worth about a 1 hour wait.
We got in line at exactly 4:15. We wanted to time it since MouseWait had it listed at 100 minutes. They didn't even go through the regular line with water until 2 hours into the wait. They were only going through the Fast Pass line for the longest time. They finally sent the water, ice cream, and popcorn people through. They definitely should have installed water fountains, I said the same thing when there. It was really difficult being in line that long with hungry/tired kids.
I just went on it today, and I waited 3 and half hours in line. If you're willing to ride by yourself and with strangers sometimes they have single riders and the wait will be 45 mins. Or just wait until the end of the summer when there is less people at the parks
Single riders entrance is the way to go. I went the day it opened and only waited for about an hour instead of the 5 or 6 hours that the people who rode with me waited.
go right away when the park opens and be at the front , waiting time is about 30m-1 hour. much better than 2 hours and you can enjoy the rest of your day. But yes this ride was nice :) i liked it. it's mostly Cars land that's packed right now.
Wow, pretty cool! I was curious how they would animate Lightning McQueen's mouth. I see how now. It's just like Test Track at Disney World. Man I've been to WDW so many times, I wish I could go to Disneyland.
i think it will be a revamp of the old story in a more modern twist, simply because the premise of test track doesn't lend itself to a solid story or movie, but I heard from an imagineer (a friend of mine working on the ride revamp) that there will be new car technology throughout the ride and will more include riders more into the rides storyline(?) very excited, although also due to the rides concept of testing, i doubt we'll see double cars like here.
if you look at the video closely there is a guide or electrical buss bar that goes to the left of luigis. it seem to be there for no particular reason. Also its a tire change in Luigis.
Carsland is a 12 acre expansion and RSR took up half of that which is 6. People have said video's of RSR does not do it justice, so as on video it might not "look" thrilling, but its different in person.
Oh wow the car ride vehicles are the same! Big freakin whoop. Radiator Springs has a level of detail Test Track will never see. Even with it's upcoming upgrade.
i went on this on saturday and it was Funnnnnnnn! It looks amazing at night. I also had pork loin with coca cola bbq sauce at flos v8 cafe... And i got ramone on radiator springs racers and won!
Aww I'm from Ireland but I go to America every year for 6 weeks, I miss it soooooooo much! We are not going this year and I was almost crying because I was on this and all the other rides and I miss it there
Looks so awesome! The whole "clone" thing is just ridiculous. Almost every Disney park has had an attraction that was cloned at another one. Plus here is one thing that makes Disneyland WAY better than Disneyworld hands down.... you can do most of the rides (plus some very cool ones that aren't at WDW) within two parks that are basically steps from each other. Can't do that at WDW.
trust me I've been to both (and i live in miami) and Disney world has no comparison! going to cirque du soleil in downtown disney, eating an eclair in france and then walking over to see a drum show in japan at epcot (dont miss the food and wine festival!) facing the yeti in animal kingdom (and soon the creatures of pandora from avatar) in animal kingdom, or swimming with sharks in typhoon lagoon, or watching stunts at hollywood studios, WDW has no comparison, come stay at one of its 23 hotels!
Did you guys know this ride was 9 hours wait time during opening!!! Thats like the whole day gone for this 4 minute ride. I couldn't wait that long especially with how expensive tickets are not. I want my moneys worth.
I rode it at D23 preview last Weekend. It's beyond anything I've ever seen at a Disney park. It's an instant classic. Just amazing to experience in person.

Went on this ride for the first time today... was amazing! Can't wait to go on it again
Amazing! We will be there in 16 days. This was seriously the BEST ride video I have ever seen. You really did a great job. Thank you.
Whoa! The car anamatronics are so realistic! They movie so swiftly and seamlessly! Can't wait to ride this.
I LOVE how they made the the cars look and move on this ride. Especially how Sheriff rolls in after the train!
what!? thank you for taking your time to film and upload this video! now i dont have to wait in line for six hours! DUDE RADIATOR RACERS RULES! THANKS!
Excellent!!! The Race at the end was the best!! Looking forward to our spring visit 2013!!
This ride looks AMAZING! Great job on the video, Dustin!

The technology for this ride is insane! The characters looked so real. It really felt as if you were in the movie.
So excited to see this in person! We're going in a couple weeks, however we will be avoiding Cars Land so that we can go with our families...but you should for sure tune in to see all of our adventures!
The audio animatronics on this ride are amazing! I look forward to seeing them in person!
wow! this looks amazing!!!

This ride was awesome!!! I waited 3 to 4 hours in line because it kept breaking down, and getting checked but it was worth the wait believe me!!!
I'm 22 years old and I STILL love the Cars movies 😁

Steni Kram kkjjhhjbggggghhhhjjjjhgggtt
oh wow! this ride looks amazing!!! i am sooo excited to ride it! yayayaya :) they really really did a wonderful job!
You know, I'm not a huge Cars fan... But OH MY GOD this looks amazing! As a frequent WDW visitor, I'm pretty stinking jealous of California right now!!!
Suuuuch a good ride!! Awesome addition to California Adventure!!
I was on the ride last week. Annual passholder. I honestly really like this ride.
I agree with you, while both rides are fun test track is my fave, although the acceleration at the wall could be a little higher. I actually had a chance to see behind the scenes what they are doing and the new computer theme seems awesome.
My brother is going to FLIP when he rides this! He is the biggest Cars fan EVER.... And they're so lifelike! I can't believe how cool this is....!
Visited during the weekday and was able to get on in 25 minutes. It was awesome!
I went not too long ago for my birthday. Two hours of waiting. It was stunning at night time. I hope I can go again! I feel like I am on the ride again, because I know how much fun it really is.
Looks great ! Cant wait to ride it next week with my kids!
Disney is always family friendly with the rides with the exception of the Hollywood Tower of Terror and that California rollercoaster. If you want thrill rides, best places are Six Flags. But you're right about the landscaping. It's gorgeous.
That looks amazing! It's a bit like Test Track.

I waited 2 hours for this, but its definitely worth it!!!
This ride looks amazing! I'm going to go to DCA tomorrow, just to go on this ride!
It is simply wonderful !
What a beautiful job from Imagineering !
This is our favorite Disney ride
i have to agree. The land is awe inspiring due to the landscaping but it falls short in providing thrilling rides.
Would love to see this at Hollywood Studios!
Radiator Springs Racers FTW!!!
My new favorite ride!
I loved this ride!;D line was SOOOOOOOOO long but SOOOOOOOOO worth it!I went on it 3 times the 3rd time we stood there when disneyland was already closed super fun!!!(:

This like the only ride that has so many videos but I still can't wait to to here again to see how it is
You forgot Lex Luthor Drop of Doom at Six Flags. And Six Flags is also well underway in the construction process of building a new coaster for next year.
Its a great time to be a theme park fan out here in SoCal!

This ride is definitely something special. Love the detail so nice to see DCA get an attraction worthy of the MK
This ride looks unbelievable!
I love Cars Land!!! You feel like you are literally in the movie it's insane. :D♥
awesome! seems a good attraction
i LOVED this ride. went on it yesterday!
I went on this yesterday it was AMAZING! the racing was the best part!
Just got back from there this had such a long line and the line for fast passes was amazingly long
This is making me tempted and making me excited for this Saturday!! im going and hell yeah im riding this!!!! no matter wat people say.
I've been on a ride like that :) It was at Wet n Wild. You go inside this capsule and theres a trapdoor and when it opens it shoots you straight down.
There's always other parks you can go to if you want thrilling rides. This is not about creating the fastest and scariest, it's about storytelling, atmosphere, great animatronics, and one of the best new dark rides. That is what Disney is known for.
Van and Minny are my favorite characters
Whoa!!! I wasn't expecting the race part!! :D I can't wait to go on it!!!! -3333
this ride was worth the wait!
I went on it yesterday. I was in line for, I kid you not, 3 hours and 15 minutes. The ride broke down 3 times while we were in line. It was awesome, but only worth about a 1 hour wait.
I like this ride more than the actual movie. Impressive!
Went on this about two months ago. Fantastic experience!
wow it looks so beautiful and like the waterfall..when i go ima instagram the crap outta this ride
We got in line at exactly 4:15. We wanted to time it since MouseWait had it listed at 100 minutes. They didn't even go through the regular line with water until 2 hours into the wait. Cool! i just went on April 1-4 So long waiting took us almost all day waiting in line. Worth it though :)
The Cars animatronics are animated so well oh my god!!!
+The Timelords
I know! They're so lifelike, aren't they?
How do you know.
dylan hayden Have you even watched the video? Then _you'll_ know...
The best ride on Disney California Adventure
This looks like a really cool ride. Maybe they can build a different version at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
I went last week, and they had employees walk around selling sodas and waters. The ride IS amazing! :D
Glad I get to leave florida and head over to Disneyland in December! :)
I just went on it today, and I waited 3 and half hours in line. If you're willing to ride by yourself and with strangers sometimes they have single riders and the wait will be 45 mins. Or just wait until the end of the summer when there is less people at the parks

I went there last year. It was super cool, I felt like I was in the movie. But I had to wait in line for 3 hours.
omg that ride looks freakin awesome!!!!!! i was going to choose universal over this, but man....i guess im just a kid at heart! go disney!!!!
Wow, pretty cool! I was curious how they would animate Lightning McQueen's mouth. I see how now. It's just like Test Track at Disney World. Man I've been to WDW so many times, I wish I could go to Disneyland.
OOOOOHHHHHHH MY GOOOOOOOOD!!!!!!!! I may not be a huge fan of Cars, but this looks so ficken' cool!!!!
How in the world do they get the mouths to move on the Cars characters like that? That is some super impressive animatronics there!

Nice ride through. Great audio. :)
This video was recorded during an Annual Passholder preview. THe official opening is June 15th.
if you look at the video closely there is a guide or electrical buss bar that goes to the left of luigis. it seem to be there for no particular reason. Also its a tire change in Luigis.
i cant wait to ride this. it looks awesome
Carsland is a 12 acre expansion and RSR took up half of that which is 6. People have said video's of RSR does not do it justice, so as on video it might not "look" thrilling, but its different in person.
Oh my God!!! I would so love to go to cars land!
It fun and all but we had to wait in line for 2 hours for a 5 min ride. It was worth it though.
Hey Im Jana get a fast pass next time, ok
try the single riders line
IT WAS SO FREAKING AWESOME!!! :D So fast! So cool! So... WOW~-3
Oh wow the car ride vehicles are the same! Big freakin whoop. Radiator Springs has a level of detail Test Track will never see. Even with it's upcoming upgrade.
Great video. Thanks for posting
Going on it Tuesday! Finally get to go on it ^^ Cant WAIT!!
i went on this on saturday and it was Funnnnnnnn! It looks amazing at night. I also had pork loin with coca cola bbq sauce at flos v8 cafe... And i got ramone on radiator springs racers and won!
As short as it was, the special FX were really worth the 2 hour wait
It's a soft opening. It's like a test audience. Certain people are invited to experience the ride.
Amazing ride I can't wait to go
Aww I'm from Ireland but I go to America every year for 6 weeks, I miss it soooooooo much! We are not going this year and I was almost crying because I was on this and all the other rides and I miss it there
I....I just couldn't help myself. XD THIS IS SO AWESOME!

Best ride there ! 2 thumbs up !!
Loved this ride

I can't wait for Grad Nite to ride this >_< So excited
